good for you guys!! im about to be 16 years old so obviously a bit older. But i thought id share my experience with you. dont choose a school because of someone else, the looks of it, or the food. always a bad decision. look up rankings, acceptance rates, requirements, and budgeting to see if its even in your price range. requirements is huge actually because in my case i am graduating a complete year early and hopefully (if i get in) going to my dream school IU (Indiana Uni-Bloomington) for Business. in primary, jr high, and the beginning of high school i thought i wanted to be a music major. I realized through other highschool classes that I love business and marketing and it will provide better job opportunities in the future. do what you love but i suggest if you are looking into Business, Medical, Engineering, or Law major in it. Anything else minor in (yes that includes the arts) you can still get jobs for your minor in the future but your major will lead you on the right track for making 5-6 figures if thats important to you. Branch out as early as possible and take optional classes that you wouldnt normally considered (thats how i fell in love with my soon to be major) also i know college may seem far away for you guys but its really not. focus on gpa and test scores now before its too late. and extra curriculars!! i cannot say enough how much colleges love extra curriculars and volunteering. do these things!! it is a great way to meet people and chances are youll find something you love to do while also improving your chances of getting into your dream school. Shorya Cione I live in Quebec where most of the colleges aren’t far enough to leave home like most of them don’t even have dorms. And plus, with COVID all my classes are online anyway
