Sabrina Ionescu has been my favorite player for the past few years. Her shooting ability is just insane but Caitlin Clark is quickly becoming my favorite playmaker passer, and that logo 3 is a thing of beauty.

Ionescu is a so-called pure shooter. Doesn't dribble. Doesn't make plays for others. Doesn't pull rebounds. And yet her form is so bad, CC makes her look like a... rookie!

They tried intimidating her, bashing her, trashing her. But she didn’t relent one bit. Tuff and double talented.
The big difference is Ionescu had a lot of wide open shots and all of CC's shots are contested. Clark's offensive pace wears teams down. She's fatigued though after running for months straight. She was 3-4 on 3 point shots in the first quarter but faded late. I think after the Olympic break and a couple weeks rest, she's going to light it up.

The shooting between those two gives a reason why WNBA might actually be worth watching finally. Still a lot of really horrible looking layups and post moves going on, but they are starting to shoot almost as good as the guys (as Ionescu proved in the All-Star Game.
