    Wow, nice car. I have a 20 years -or so- Inferno ST US Sports, which I upgraded to ST-R or ST-RR and I installed a LRP 28 motor, because I had extreme temperature and tuning problems. I also installed a better steering servo. Later I swapped RTR Transmitter to Spektrum DX3s with telemetry.
    I wish there were more videos of Kyosho Truggies. 20 years ago Kyosho was THE THING. Pricey but sturdy.

    That’s what I always wondered why some guys run all 5 tanks back to back, not good, you gotta let it cool down and let it heat cycle. All part of it. Good stuff Mike

    I just got mine today, its pretty awesome seems pretty tough. One of my front wheels is a little wobbly, they forgot to install one of the bearings in the hub . Soo thats the only issue I found but still gonna do break-in and take it easy on it until that bearing comes in.

    • @NitroMike
      @NitroMike  Před 3 lety

      Check the gearmesh. Out of the box This inferno ST had no play on the clutchbell and spurgear. Otherwise enjoy! Take your time on the break in and keep the temps up! This KE25 engine is very tight out the box and needs atleast a full quart before it is fully broken in! Watch my next video where we finish the break in too. You will see how well it drives once fully broken in!

    Nitro Mike need some help from a Kyosho ST expert...and that’s you. My Kyosho ST is having an issue where the power is not being tranfered to the wheels 100% . I’m on full throttle and it looks like it’s on 1/3 of throttle. I’ve changed the diff oil front, center and rear, changed a damaged bearing , put 3 new shoes and a 14T clutch bell as the stantard one is a 12T ... And it’s still the same. It just doesn’t send the full power to the wheels and can’t figure out why. Can you help me with this?
    Thanks!

    • @NitroMike
      @NitroMike  Před 3 lety +1

      Have you checked out the clutch shoes? Maybe they are worn. What also happend to me in the past was the screws out of the center drivecups backout and then the drivecups don't grap to the diffs anymore

    • @christophermarneca2879
      @christophermarneca2879 Před 3 lety

      Nitro Mike It has 3 new shoes and still doesn’t work. Gonna have to check those screws from the center drivecup then . See if the issue is from there. I’ve been working on this for a while and can’t figure out what it is 🙄🙄

    Hi
    What air filter would you recommend?(link)
    What other upgrades are good.
    Thanks

    • @NitroMike
      @NitroMike  Před 3 lety

      I recommend any 2 stage filter. I run Xray two stage filters myself. If you can get them, get a motor safers outerwear too. That little cover will make any 2 stage filter last longer without getting clogged up!

    Hi,what air filter you recommend to this one?just got mine last week😎 but after a hour drive the rear drive shaft has been lost,when i found it was bent like banana😳 any idea what can cause it?love your videos and lots of info😍👌

    • @NitroMike
      @NitroMike  Před 3 lety

      Any two stage filter is better than the stock filter. I personally run an Xray filter myself. Kyosho, Xray, Ultimate and a couple other brands like motor safers all make excellent filters. As for the rear driveshaft I have no idea since my driveshafts only bend when jumping or crashing into curbs 😅🤣

    its not better than the losi 8ight truggy, how can you compare them if you didnt have both

    • @NitroMike
      @NitroMike  Před 3 lety

      I based my comparison of what you get for your money. On the Kyosho you get mudguards, alloy steering blocks, and bullet proof diffs out of the box. My Inferno ST still runs on a box stock chassis and it survived 3 modified engines!

    • @S.carr.c
      @S.carr.c Před 3 lety

      Nitro Mike yes, but i guarantee you that the steering blocks are better from losi, mudguards are not needed and the tlr diffs run for ever...
