I like those flat-ass hot rod boats I see on line! had a ride on one with a built 460. crazy fun! I have two stock 454's in my 31' IMP. I get mid sixty's mph. (peanut port heads, TRS, mirage plus 23p). lol you must get 75 or 80? sounds real tuff. good luck buddy!
Hello, nice boat and it sounds great! How do you like it, there isn't much interior room. I just bought one with a 350ci in it. I have a question if you're still on here. My gear shifter is really hard going into gear out of the water. I'm not sure in the water, I haven't had it in the water yet. Do you think the cable needs to be replaced or can you lubricate the cable somehow? How does the console come off to access the cable, does the surround plate come off? Any help is appreciated.

IF it has a Bravo Drive id shoehorn a big block in there before i spent a penny on any SB. IF its Alpha drive, it would get a For Sale sign! If you drive a Prius i guess it sounds bad ass.
This boat isn't good for fishing is it? I take it it scare them away :O Classic Donzis still kill this thing in looks, sound and feel. Having ridden in my Uncle's 16 footer several times, nothing give the thrill of one of them.

Liked it till i saw the jet drive. That kills the hull speed. Just make a creek runner out of it i guess. Go ramp gravel bars.
Was it worth the V8 engine investment? I had one of those boat before and was very disappointed with the jet pump.

A naturally aspirated carbed 350 doesn’t make 400+ hp.... sounds wicked , but be realistic. 320 maybe
