@@diannecoluchi226 Keep listening Dianne! I’ve been listening since he cut the first tracks he cut, and I still do! Very cool, this goes back to the roots, the beginning! Music that started it all! What the Stones patterned theirselves after! Anyone that plays Rock and Roll has some of it! Cause that’s where it all started! Thanks for answering! Bless you!
Hours, days, weeks probably months learning this, getting all the right tone and vibrato nuances and they're chatting. This is top quality playing, well done.
If you'd like to hear this one without the audience noise, it's on Mr. Cooder's "Crossroads" album... and it is hauntingly beautiful there. It's too bad this cover couldn't have been pulled off his board - it sure sounds nice raw out in the air though, don't it?
Two hrs playing in front of a rude audience, for a lukewarm beer and a flabby sandwich. My, my... Great cover however, by a musician who respects music ! I just hope you got a decent fee, for that set.
You’ve done the tune justice , shame the audience didn’t deserve you !
Nice to hear all those people talking over his playing, truly music enthusiasts
They were more concerned with the masks that they were gonna be wearing, very soon..Chyna killed music as we knew it..
That's when you gotta cut the volume up just a bit, drown out that noise.
😆
It`s the norm,I pay bands to play here and feel like shouting at the customers as they pay no attention at all to them.Sheer ignorance.
This must be an old video because now they would all be silent looking at there phones.
It’s not how fast you play,it’s the feelings you provoke while playing that counts to me.
One of the greatest blues men of our time!
He’s been haunting me since the 70.
Me too!
I love this man. I've been listening to his music since the 80s

Ry is always amazing. I wonder when this was recorded?
This is not Ry Cooder. It's a guy playing like Ry Cooder.
@@richardgray8593 I guess I should have written Paul is doing an amazing job of covering an amazing Ry piece but that seemed like too much work.
@@bobh2185 Hey, if you close your eyes, it's Ry Cooder.
Is that Ry?
No, it appears to be a Mr Johnny Paulsen... going by the comment/reply above
You’ve done the tune justice , shame the audience don’t deserve you !
