My Grandpa who is no longer with us (he passed away from thyroid cancer in 2018), He was a High School History teacher and he was One Very proud Aggie!
His spirit lives on with all of us and whenever my family watch an Aggie Game, and whenever I see the Queen Of Texas, Reveille (since he got to be with her when he was a student).

I was in the Corps in the early 80s. My roommate (we called them ol’ ladies) was from Vietnam. He really like this song but always needed help with the lyrics. He also couldn’t carry a tune very well. I had to sing it for him, a lot 😂

I can remember singing "I've Been Workin' on the Railroad" lyrics while their band played and they politely sang. This both with and without my dad and both in Austin and at Kyle sometimes with them around us. And this several times. Ha ha ha. Good memories.
