Pulled from A&M/OU Cotton Bowl performance in pre-game. I do not own rights to music, trademarks, or represent Texas A&M in an official capacity. Just doing a friend a favor. Gig'em
My Grandpa who is no longer with us (he passed away from thyroid cancer in 2018), He was a High School History teacher and he was One Very proud Aggie! His spirit lives on with all of us and whenever my family watch an Aggie Game, and whenever I see the Queen Of Texas, Reveille (since he got to be with her when he was a student). ❤️TEXAS AGGIES🤍 GIG’EM AGGIES! ❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍
I was in the Corps in the early 80s. My roommate (we called them ol’ ladies) was from Vietnam. He really like this song but always needed help with the lyrics. He also couldn’t carry a tune very well. I had to sing it for him, a lot 😂
I can remember singing "I've Been Workin' on the Railroad" lyrics while their band played and they politely sang. This both with and without my dad and both in Austin and at Kyle sometimes with them around us. And this several times. Ha ha ha. Good memories.
For all the time I sang it as a student, it never sounded so good as when the student body and audience sang it when my daughter walked with her degree from TAMU.
dropped by to hear this. Aggies will reflect on this moment, come back with reformed practices and continue to be a place that will forever be in the hearts of alum.
Some may boast of prowess bold of the school thy think so grand. But theirs a spirit can ne’er be told it’s the spirit of Aggie land. We are the aggies the aggies are we true to each other as Aggie’s can be we’ve got to fight boys we’ve got to fight for maroon and white after they’ve boosted all the rest they will come and join the best for we are the aggies the aggies are we were from Texas a m c
I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Washington alum, also love Oregon and Oregon State (I hate Washington State). The alternate lyrics to Spirit of Aggieland: "It's a world of laughter, it's a world of fears....There's so much that we share, that it's time we are aware, It's a small world after all, It's a small world after all!"
What is the narrative behind the use of a song containing multiple N-words and FBombs as the football team entrance song at Kyle Field? Many still do take offense to the use of these racial slurs.. One would think A&M would want to be part of the solution, not the problem?
I didn't go to A&M, but Dad did. This was His favorite prayer to God. I need His help.

Playing this for my newborn baby. Gotta start them young!
I used to sing it to my baby when I would rock him to go to bed at night. He's 30 now.
This song beats the ever loving HELL out of the eyes of Texas
Hell no
Ours is an original composition, y’alls is just I’ve been working on the railroad

@@32RH I've Been Workin' on the Railroad sure has Go Tell Aunt Rhody beat all to hell.
I know this is from 2013, but I love how old it sounds. The echo makes it sound like a 30s/40s recording. Absolutely fantastic.
The echo really is the third star here.
Observe the production brother. Kudos to the [probable] photographer here who understood what he had taken.

What an awesome way to graduate!!
Gives me so many chills
