Marriage is needed in the Black community. We will never make progress as a people as long as we stay divided.

I agree but I think its best people make decisions willingly vs by force.

The no man in the house rule is NOT a thing. Section 8 eligibility is based on INCOME not just having a man in the home.
Every adult has to report their INCOME who lives in a Section 8.
I know MEN who lived in Section 8 apartments.
BLACK MEN need to make higher income than the average to take care a wife and kids!!

@@EJIMANnenaNgozi I want children but I hear at 35 you become a geriatric pregnancy so that scares me for the health of the child I am a little different I was adopted so I have more of a want for family but my age scares me to have them. I’m adopted from Haiti so since I’m older biologically and don’t have a man yet I decided to start getting a doctorate instead now. And I’ve decided after I finish school and have worked for a year I will try to adopt from country. 💕 what about you all?

@@nellybarrett7so you rather bring a child into a single parent household we’re statistics show that’s one of the worse environments for a child to be raised, that’s why we as black community have falling behind every other race.

I see your point but at the end of the day women dont have the final say when it comes to marriage. So what do you advise single women who want children to do?

@@EJIMANnenaNgozi wouldn’t it be nice if we had the final say! I’m trying to figure it out myself but my advice would be woman that are younger and haven’t been through what I have abuse and so forth are better off finding love then me I guess my advice would be pay attention to who you choose so you don’t end up like me 33 and single and forced to choose a career instead of family. But I’m learning happiness doesn’t have to come from being a mother and a wife ect ect. It can look different for everyone 💕 so I pray everyone can find the happiness they desire with a man or without!

This section 8 saying is bullshit all the adults in the house must report their income it’s about calculating all the adults money who live in the home I’m so tried of that ridiculous lie being told to tarnish black women!

So if there is one income versus two wouldn’t that most likely be lower?
