Agree with everything you’ve said! I purchased the Chanel double flap this past November 2019 and unfortunately noticed the lambskin leather was already wrinkled after I got home (in better lighting). A few days later I went back to the store and ended up exchanging it for the caviar leather because the other 5 lambskin leather versions they had in store were also wrinkled!

Hi! Thats terrible that they sold you the one thats on display. Whenever i go to LV they always give me one from the back room. I also got an LV bag in the flagship store in Paris and also got a bag from the backroom. The one that you got, was it the last one in store?

I actually got it in Murano near Venice on my recent trip. I don't remember the name of the exact shop, but here's one on Amazon I found that's similar. Unfortunately they don't have any beige ones like mine. amzn.to/2Qs9pBz If I can find the name of the shop I purchased it from I'll let you know!

It’s happen to my mother’s 5000$ handbag once too. The cross body straps (screw) fall out every use. I hate Chanel

I would die if I saw a scrape when I got home! Horrified! It is a good precautionary story to check the bag!
