@@truslo damn. am not too educated on the rules n shit I will admit. I think refusing to do the field sobriety test can be quite bad, right? And car search they then what, would need a warrant which takes time? time he coulda spent getting rid of evidence (assuming they let u go about your way for longer than a few hours)
edit: ok so did some reading, you can refuse field sobriety tests too, you just will probs get taken to temporary jail, as long as you don't also refuse the breathalyzers and chemical tests which ig takes you down further into the rabbithole. but if you got a mf corpse in your trunk.. anything to keep them away from searching the car I guess lol. idk whytf this guy just chose all the worst choice/dialogue options available to him.

I know where I live a cop used to able to search if he thought he smelled weed, but I think he had to request a K9 and wait for the Handler and K9 to do the search.
@@scallie6462 The odor of marijuana alone shall not provide a law enforcement officer with probable cause to conduct a search without a warrant in the state of Louisiana. The officer had to ask to search the vehicle but since the suspect was an open book the cop managed to get him to admit he had weed in the car. Some people really do need to use their right to remain silent as he incriminated himself allowing the search.

boy was speeding without a license with roaches in the tray, fresh bullet holes in car, no ID, doesn't know where he lives, doesn't know where he is going, owner of vehicle reported missing.. The npc spawning in to offer a side quest must have cancelled the event sequence, skipping the part where he should have been cuffed and placed in the back of the patrol car. This new tech could be huge if we can find a consistent way of triggering the phone npc spawn.

It's the smartest thing he could've done. When he walks up to the window he risks getting shot or the guy speeding off. This way he can take cover behind his doors and prevent the guy from speeding off. But they shouldn't have stood in the death zone between the 2 cars, that's asking to get crushed. This officer did way better than most 8/10, most cops would get like 4/10.
@@baph0metthe door doesn't really offer any cover against bullets. He just let the guy step out so that in a case he had a weapon drawn against him he would have a faster reaction time vs the driver.
