This is not first footage from 70' and 80' when you see people in masses with intellectual disabled illness. They were so stupid, so backward that it is hard to believe. Those videos are like reports from closed mental hospital.

IIRC, they damaged the throttle during the race so the co-driver had to hold it in place for the rest of the stage.

I love how many different languages you can hear in those clips. It shows how the love for rally is really global. It truly is the WRC!
The amount of control and skill rally requires is absolutely incredible. I have more respect for these guys than pretty much any other motorsport.
This is officially the 50th season of WRC, so I wanted to prepare something special: After 4 months finally, I finished this big project (it's the video with the biggest number of rallies involved in the history of my channel, with 617 rounds). Lots of great clips The usual stuff from the german vineyards is always funny but the top two I wanted were Tanak sinking his Ford and Pannizi doing donuts on stage for the fans.

I love the Group B cars, but personally, I feel the 2.0L era was the best for the sport, as it had the most number of auto manufacturers. Subaru, Mitsubishi, Ford, Toyota, Peugeot, Skoda, Hyundai, Citroen, hope I'm not forgetting any.
Only one, Seat for 1997-1998 in the Cordoba, 1999 Skoda took over for the VAG company. You know well 😄

@@peterszilagyi8629 Mostly sure it was Panizzi. I remember watching the rally cover on TV back in the day. Panizzi was a tarmac master and on this rally he has such a big lead that he had time to cheer the fans!
10:50 If I remember correctly, a dive team located this car, it was craned out and then mechanics spent the whole night drying it out and repairing it and it raced the next day!

I've found it impossible to have a definitive favorite era of WRC because all of the cars are top tier.
This video sums up rallying perfectly.. The fans, the history, the cars, the drivers, and more - it's just all perfect.

Awesome job man! Watching Group B I always thought what a difficult thing to race among all those people. And 2017+ era really showed a improvement on the speed of the cars, it's just insane

9:37 that 360 that Gilles Panizzi did (I think it was in Spain, but I might be wrong), I still remember it from watching Rallying/WRC VHS tapes on my parents' CRT TV back as a kid, probably 15-20 years ago... Out of all those tapes, that memory is still etched in my brain.

Thanks for grouping spectacular moments from Rally racing. It might be hard to present every legends cars in nearly 50 years but I would expect the famous winners like Alpine A110 (1973) or Fiat 131 Abarth to be part of the show.
Maybe another video to see more ?
