Me personally her future was not guided properly, for one plans on having a child out of wedlock wasn't a good decision, NOT AT ALL. Starting a business in a destitute community where most of your clients are family n friends from your childhood wasn't a great choice either. She should of started her business in a whole different State City or Surburb . That's boss moves.

That's because you shouldn't be putting your success out there. We live in a time where everybody wants validation, that's a poor man's mentality. Wealthy white people don't partake in showing off anything outside of celebrities, and some of them don't do it either, just us. They dress down, drive regular cars, and keep their business to themselves. They don't even use social media outside of business. We have to learn to do the same. We can't keep telling people "I have money" and then act surprised when someone gets jealous.

Also the lack of tears and inconsolable emotions on camera and the ability to give a coherent interview from the mother, aunt and grandmother suggest that this type of trauma is common in their realities. Shot in head at point blank range in broad daylight is very personal which means she more than likely knew of the parties involved. When a person can’t become successful and mind their own business without living in fear of their life we’re done as a society and human race.

I remember this story when it happened and I can’t believe four years later no one has came forward to help the authorities to make an arrest, unbelievable and sad. The authorities should have the neighbors in custody because they are the ones who did this awful thing the young lady already told them pretty much who it was before her death. I have told my family and friends to stop telling everyone "God has blessed me with..." and to stop putting so much on social media. I agree. There was no need for her to flaunt her lifestyle on social media. She should have just lived her life quietly. Or at the very least moved and relocated her business to a safer and more secure location. Especially, after the break-in and saying she feared for her life. The dad is a dud for not taking his daughter. But as for the child going to protective custody I think that’s protocol when the police arrived to the scene and found the baby there with a deceased mother. They initially send them to child protective custody until they can find a family member to come take custody of the child. Thankfully her mother stepped up because that baby’s father clearly wasn’t worth a damn smh.

The police took the report for the robbery. What more did you expect them to do? It was up the the judicial system (i.e. court) to prosecute the robbers. Not the police. As for the men in her family failing to protect her, why are you holding them accountable? What about the women in her life,? What about Destiny herself? She's the one who chose to flaunt her money and lifestyle on social media. She's also the one who chose to maintain her business in the hood instead of relocating it to a more secure location. No, she didn't deserve to be robbed or murdered. But what did she expect when she chose to post her success on social media for those around her to see?
