There are a lot of debris on the freeway. Is she sure she did not run over anything? There is no tire that is rated for heat, tires are only rated for speed. If tires are stored properly, dry rot should be a problem. This report is aimed at generating fear through confusion and misinformation. Who checks their tires everytime before they drive? And if so, what do you check for?
It is just a gimmick, you can safely drive tires even when they are 10 years old. They must have no bumps and big cracks in them, if not then they are fine to use

I have had 5 tire treads separate from the tire . 5 different times. On my 32 foot class C RV. All when the tires hit 5 or six years. 😢
