Honestly surprised how few hours you have in Warframe according to steam, I figured you'd be in the tens of thousands.
I spent a weekend visiting family and brought my steam deck to play warframe. It... worked... but man, logging back on with my pc and my big monitor, it felt nice.
This reminds me of the old postage stamp challenge on PC

Been playing on controler since Xbox version released, you get used to the silliness.
Also, you can disable interact prompts while playing on controller

It feels a lot better to play it on Switch since the buttons are above the stick and you can move the Camera and jump at the same time. Still not nearly as good as playing on computer but its still pretty nice when im feeling lazy

only 7k on steam? suprising
after +2500 hours of wf on controller on ps4 and finally being able to move to pc i just can't switch to kb&m, though having also basically never played games on kb&m other than like just spore and minecraft is not helping. tried a good 60hs of FFXIV but just could never get comfortable with kb&m. hands always felt so stranded and numbers where very hard to hit precisely
just feel like i lose so much control going from joystick to wasd, especially while also having that hand delegated to like 90% of all inputs, i dont see how people do it
as someone who has played Warframe with nothing but a controller for 12 years....its all about what your use too...and extensive controller mapping
So I'm getting the general feeling you might have a slight preference for keyboard, maybe, possible.

i think i would rather buy more copies of mh3u than ever experience this game on this console... already playing this with a controller on steam (i dont have a pc mouse lol) was enough masochism for me. Did you know the steam controller config used to be buggy and then they finally fixed that.. by deleting the ability to change the steam controller config somehow? Truly one of the experiences of all time

I actually really liked controller warframe. Pc is a LOT more accurate and easier but i feel like movement was better on controller
As someone who's recently switched from PC(very old, can barely handle the game anymore) to PS4, that comment about controller being ass hurts. It's pretty decent, actually.
I highly suggest getting a ps5 as soon as possible, the difference between PS4 and PS5 is absolutely staggering

playing warfarm with a controller is pure suffering, whether it is on a WiiU, any flavor of console or the steam deck.
Learn to use the Steam Deck's trackpad properly and you will change your mind. It's very close to the full mouse and keyboard experience.
I regularly play with semi-auto marksman weapons like sniper rifles; It's certainly harder to go for headshots on a trackpad than a mouse, but shockingly playable. The fast whip movement needed to use Zephyr's AoE ability is no obstacle on the Steam Deck either.
I was playing on switch for years and after have been on pc for a few months I gotta say I prefer controller
@@michaelhuss0 i have ben putting fair bit of hours into warfarm on my deck and learning to use the trackpad has made the experience a whole lot less painful indeed, still prefer KB+M as my main way of playing.
