In a world of incarnon and Kuva weapons, the Gotva Prime is the pinnacle of simplicity. Love this weapon.
Just picked up Nagantaka Prime for similar reasons. Forego lasers, embrace arrows.
Gotva is more complicated than my beloved Kuva Karak

Me and a friend described the Gotva Prime as "The old era grineer Braton prime". Its effective, simple, elegant, and satisfying to use. Good gun.

Primary frostbite with corrosive cold might be more fun than merciless imo
Add to that a sentinel with verglas modded for cold and you will have that bonus maxed out.
I normally use this in Boss Fights where stacking Merciless is not Practical. 👀
I just tried this earlier. It's actually great, way better than i thought it would be.
You almost don't need any generic damage for it.
can confirm, it feels much better than Merciless. Numbers-wise it's worse, but it feels so much more satisfying
Primary Frostbite arcane is made for this weapon. On cold proc +multishot (more chance for reds) and +CD (for harder hitting reds) and I think ramp up is a bit faster compared to Merciless as it needs procs and not kills. Match made in heaven I would say 🙂

Using Citrine with red shards on this is a LOT of fun. Breaking the meta and still being effective is a welcome change.
You may want to put a Primary Frostbite on it, since you're using Primed Cryo Rounds. At rank 5, it adds 120% crit damage and 90% multishot upon cold proc, and it's even pretty damn easy to get. Conjunction Survival on Lua, bought from Archmedian Vonta or whatever her name is.

I don’t know if you’ll even see this but I want to say thank you so much for the videos you post. They always give me a laugh and inspire me to use different builds in the game and it always ends up being a blast. So thank you for keeping the burnout monster away
Lavos with this is quite fun. It’s simple, easy gameplay with guaranteed status for the red crits if you use valence formation

@@redmdlee in my experience I tried to mod for zero status mods on it and valence formation crit but barely, you'd want to trigger other statuses as well so with status mods and galvanized multishot+valence it occasionally just covers the screen in red because each separate instance crits (hunter munitions as well OOF)
@@redmdlee more status=more procs= more crits. The extra procs is the main thing though, combine this with lavos and 2 green shards and you're shreding anything with armor easily. Added bonus for the damage boost

I love the sound design on this gun it just feels great to use.
Literally my favorite/go to CZcamsr for weapon builds because you don’t mix in any frame buffs just simple damage maxing on weapons
Indeed, and we can just imagine ourselves how much of a damage boost certain warframes can give through abilities, like a Mirage with Eclipse and Shooting Gallery, would make a weapon with 100 damage suddenly do around 1100 damage no problem and to top it off, the extra little damage from the doppelgangers

So, Gotva Prime. That rifle is a blast to play with (pun may be intended). I run two Hybrid (I'm kind of a crit junkie even when it's not needed) setups both Corrosive-Cold and Viral (I don't remember if it's Hunter Munition or Heat).
It slays in most missions I use it in. It's fun!

You need to try this on Zephyr; you get basically guaranteed Red Crits when shooting into her Tornados, plus they double Critical Damage. Lavos with his new Valence Formation augment and its forced status procs would also be good for this gun.
If you are already getting crits then the unique ability of this gun is having no impact as it only upgrades non-crits a small % of the time - may as well use something else in that case!
@@wbunnage The guaranteed Crits come from the gun's unique trait synergizing with the Tornadoes. When a weapon procs a status effect on a Tornado, all enemies in the Tornado get that proc. If you have 7 enemies in your Tornadoes, that 15% chance on status to get a Red Crit on the next shot becomes nearly guaranteed and then your Crit Damage is doubled.
There are No Guaranteed Red Crits. The UI is just Throwing away the Damage Numbers that aren't Red Critting. 😐

I fell in love with this gun when I got it last Baro visit, it's an absolute laser and the damage on it is really good with such a nice fire rate. I don't have hammer shot so I'm running Primed Shred for the punch through and fire rate, and this thing chews through enemies surprisingly quickly. Galvanized Chamber, Galvanized Aptitude, Primed Shred, Primed Cryo Rounds, Malignant Force, Vital Sense, Radiated Reload and Hunter Munitions, plus Vigilante Supplies... it's a joy to just aim down a hallway and mag-dump and watch everything get sawed in half.
Running Gotva with the new lavos augment for guaranteed status procs all the time and just dumping crit damage

Using it with wisp that thing SHREDS, I love it.
Gotva prime is the best single target weapon right now cuz it feels the best and is actually strong, add in one single punch through mod and you now have a corridor clearing rifle
One of my favorite frames with gotva is zephyr since vigilante supply if you hit the tornado it runs each separate hit from the tornado with the roll for increase of crit but the passive of the gotva if you get the red crit it effects them all
Ah yes nothing like Funny Internet Man goofing around with le funny builds on weapons for my work break. Love this format of vids, more fun than the Weapon Encyclopedia imo and makes wanna play around with different weapons more. Also think you could use this form of "experimental build testing" on like Frames too? Idk this kind of vid just makes me wanna try out and experiment with stuff
For your corrosive/cold build consider dropping vital sense for serration and using primary frostbite for your arcane
Hi Mr CZcams man, I think you've found your niche in the Warframe space! I really really like the new direction in "dumb fun" builds.
I picked this one up from Barro Kiteer when he came around a couple of weeks ago. I'm a newer player, only about 60 days and MR 21, but this is hands down my favorite weapon and I use it on Most of my loadouts right now.

The Gotva prime a simple and cool looking weapon that I love running with when I use Gyre.
I run a similar build to the corrosive cold one, using the arcane that gives cd and Ms for cold procs to add more chances for big numbers. It's probably not as good as merciless but I enjoy it
I got it and saw other youtubers trash it. I really liked the way it feels so I decided to work on it. I actually put on the same build in this video. It's now one of my top 3 guns. I run it with Hydroid, throw out some armor strip and then shred!
Love these just 'fun' builds for weapons that are not meta but still fun. I know you get many comments but was wondering if you would take a look into the Balefire Charger (Hildryn's 1st ability)? Feel this is overlooked because low crit and status. But it has no fall off AND goes through walls, plus base damage can be pretty high (Since it scales off power strength and blast range scales off range) PLUS the mods on the weapon itself. With Hildryn's natural armor strip I think it could be a 'fun' build I never see used. Anyways, if you do read this THANKS :) Keep up the awesome videos!
For me in any game with meta weapons i always love/look out for solid weapons that aren't nutty but still look great and perform well and ths gotva prime does it best love it
As much as I love my Good ol' Boltor Prime (especially now that it as an Incaron Form that turns it into a Machine Shotgun) there's something so charmingly simple about the Gotva. Plus it has great build potential.
I did Vital sense, Prime Shred, Galvanized Chamber & Aptitude, Malignant Force, Rime Rounds, Thermite Rounds, Hunter munitions. It’s been my go to SP weapon since I got it
This thing is insanely fun with Zephyr. For those who don't know, her tornadoes DOUBLE crit damage, on top of basically making any single target weapon aoe.
Gotva Prime is honestly everything I could ask for in a primary. It's just so basic and so fun. I spent plat to name it after my favorite variation of the Halo assault rifle, MA37. I don't often use primaries, but when I do? Invariably the Gotva Prime.
It also just sounds fantastic.
Id also recommend kuva karak, very forgotten but an amazing simple rifle!
Kuva hund is also an amazing simpler but flavourful rifle too!
Crit Chance is still a good option, because with the puncture (25% extra crit) and Critial delay you get to 97% crit chance, wich is a constant source of yellow crits with the same occasional red crit from the passive
I really do feel like having cold damage on this gun is ideal. Puncture and cold procs work well together to boost the crit stats fairly effectively.
My poor Soma Prime falls a bit further in my estimations, but this gun looks hella cool, looking forward to grabbing it when I next get back in

i think u should take another look at the wolf sledge again, bet u will have a mighty good time out of that weapon with the throwing mechanic + melee influence
You want the cryo to be the dual stat as if not running cc mods on gotva you really want to bump up the status chance more for the cosistency of the perk , also hot take here , plated rounds actually fits exceptionally well for upkeep of galv stacks etc between that and frost bite if rocking cold
put the full vigilante set on your sentinel and gotva goes next level... also hunter munitions is not worthed, but instead go corrosive heat, high status, and the trait will do the trick, for the arcane i like to go primary dext since i usually play long runs with my Nezha
if you go hunter munitions you have to pump up the crit chance and youll lost slots there, but is valid as well for viral i guess

@MCGamerCZ could i interest you in doing a guide on how to mod melee-weapons? I mean for heavy and light attack setups. When and why is a weapon good for heavy attacks or why not? What doyou build for on those weapons? Maybe in like 4 categories? Kinda like: Heavy attack on status focused weapons, same on crit focused weapons and light attacks on heavy or crit focused weapons. Its a topic i think about a lot buti feel like i'm never really getting it right. And i do t wanna watch a deep-dive explanation for every single weapon before i use it. I wanna know how this stuff works. Just a suggestion, would be lovely❤
Definitely a good gun to use when acceltra prime gets boring to use

well this is ideal weapon for primary frostbite. Critical Damage and Multishot are very good for this gun
I run almost the same setup for the corrosive cold. I have shivering contagion instead of armaments and the frost arcane(cant recall name atm).
Easily one of my favorite weapons since I don't want or need my weapon to make my morning coffee, I only need it to "feel" good while I'm killing enemies. 🤣

I will say, with this gun the new damage numbers lie to you due to how it works with big critical numbers, a lot of your non crit hits get shafted for it. You still get a lot of red crits but it just hides some of the lower ones

Personally, its my new favourite weapon and with the Punchthrough setup on its upgrades, can onetap a 220 Acolyte with the incarnons final hit lol

You should try using Ophelia as a testing ground instead. Enemies come to you so it's not that much moving around. And the spawn rooms are IMMACULATE. Hands down my favorite node for testing weapons or frames

You know you haven’t played warframe in a while when they start priming weapons you’ve never heard of.
If you like running Cold against Acolytes and other hard targets, please consider putting +damage on the weapon itself instead of the Arcane slot so you can run Primary Frostbite! 90% multishot and 120% crit damage on Gotva Prime can do a lot more work than something like Merciless.
10x crit damage is great on its own, but then you get 30x-40x most of the time anyway and I absolutely love that

2 D isn't to bad on the Gotva no matter what you will want Gunco and hammershot on the weapon.
The ever elusive Hammer Shot... I've been using this gun for quite a good bit since Baro came 'round. Been trying to get this mod since I've unlocked damn nightmare mode so folks, I think it's worth the **shudders** 60 plat for this fun gun

Personally I am not a fan of the weapon I don’t really like aiming (as most of the time by the time I have aimed the thing has been killed by my sentinel or a teammate) I’m more of a shooting from the hip player especially with how fast we are moving around most of the time it’s why I like the plasmor’s look look in the direction of the bad guy pull the trigger and no more bad guy I swear that the plasmor’s are actually teleporters and someone mistook them for a gun (there’s just this mass of body’s floating in orbit after each mission, pop oh look another one just appeared).
Did someone test out if primary frostbite is any good for this gun?

I have a riven with CC and CD....its weak though....i wonder if i should reroll but ive wanted to get that combo forever on so many other rivens. My Boltor Prime and Telos are both better even before activating incarnon mode....at least the my hunter munitions builds are bc they need slash damage.
