Great point of comparison. It never occurred to me there was any point of likeness between the antiheroes in JOKER and SCARFACE. Even now that I see it, I’m still struggling with how to articulate it. But this song might as well have been written to point it out.
Love this song and Joaquin Phoenix did a marvelous portrayal of Joker. Huge fan of the film. And can't wait til Joker: Folie à Deux in 2024. Wish it was sooner.
