The best thing about this video is the off-brand Mr Clean. Is that like a Mexican mr. Clean? I love it.

If using the wheels with the Brute trash can, pull the trash can, don’t push it. If it does catch on something you won’t push over the barrel

Use a zip tie to tighten the ball to the baster. It helps you get a good hard blast of water when you need

Those Brutes with dollies are a god send. I have several of the 55 gallons on wheels - RODI, mixing can, and waste can. Put cheap pumps in each one to move water around, and man - so much easier to do maintenance.

I have a drip acclimation kit I bought off of Amazon for 20.99. And the way it is setup allows for you to drip acclimate and temperature acclimate at the same time by letting you float the bag as you drip acclimate. Hasn't failed me yet.

I had so many small pumps laying around that had no idea what to do with them, as soon as you mention return area of the sump, one went there, and then I decided to dump one on my overflow box and that was magic all the slime (bacteria) that was getting accumulated at the bottom is gone now (BTW the smell was awful I will take the skimmate smell over that stuff 🤢). Thanks!

@@MadHattersReef try one sometime theyre pretty great jus a light abrasive, although im not sure whether theyre safe with acrylic or not since theyre an abrasive but ive also never had an acrylic tank so theres that if u have acrylic then i would double check online that a magic eraser is safe i think they would be but thats jus speculation i dont see how theyre hard enough to cause any scratches but also could depend on quality of the acrylic as well… i guess if u wanted u coild try one on the back corner of the glass where no one will be looking at anyways and see if it leaves any marks bit u should be able to get an answer by jus googling it im sure plenty of people have used them on acrylic and posted things about their experiences with using magic erasers on the acrylic i jus use a razor blade most of the time unless j have a large area and its a pain to hold the razor blade and do all that work then ill jus use the magic eraser its also great for cleaning the silicone get any algae off it that has grown on it without damaging it like a razor blade obviously would which is always important when u have clear seams and u can see the algae really easily and magic erasers are the best thing for cleaning those areas that ive tried thus far
