A story set in the late 19th Century Bengal, Bulbbul traverses the journey of a young girl from innocence to strength, as the legend of a chudail casts a looming shadow over her world.
Bulbbul is a supernatural thriller produced by actor & producer Anushka Sharma & Karnesh Ssharma (Clean Slate Filmz) and directed by Anvita Dutt. It's the haunting tale of a young, innocent bride who grows up to be a strong, mysterious woman presiding over her household. She harbours a painful past as several murders of men plague her village.

I am from Bengal and a Bengali ..and I just wanna say that now a days ... historical . mythological and adventurous movies are more valued in Bengali movies than flims based on story of hero and heroine ..some of Bengalee artists really deserve place in Bollywood for their talent ..... But these movies arent released in all of the threatres as they don't posses any actor that whole India knows .. someone like ABIR CHATTERJEE is a master class I have seen .
Love Avinash and Tripti. I hope to see them in many more projects replacing talentless nepokids. Let's promote them people. They deserve it

Watched this movie a couple of hours back on Netflix . This is indeed a masterpiece movie that takes the horror to a new level.

Why were Bulbul's feet sewed in a twisted way?
If Bulbul is already dead & she's now Chudail, why is she scared of fire in the end? Plus she was bleeding after the gunshot. Do Chudail's bleed?

Earlier I used to ignore south movies even though I liked the story just because I considered bollywood to be the best and I couldn't hear anything against it,but the recent video u posted about nepotism was an eye opener for me. I realised that bollywood is a huge mess. They crush the talent,they don't let good south movies release here and later adopt their story.
