Ohhh your garden of roses is so beautiful Alla. You know what I also love seeing are your rock walls. I remember when you were building them, digging out the old huge roots levelling the slopes, throwing stones down from the road & eventually planting & placing the moss, strawberries etc in the walls. I was & am still so impressed❤🍓🥀🧡🍓🥀❣️🍓🥀🏡🍓
I love your garden ! You have inspired me to plant more roses in my garden. So yesterday I planted four. And I will be adding more with every trip to the garden centre. Thank you for recharging my love of gardening.
Wow! Thank you for taking us along in your garden. It’s grown so much since last year. I bought some Astilbe as well for a shady spot and I’ve also bought a new pink rose. It’s got an amazing scent and long stems, but black spot. I sprayed them with a special black spot spray. Next plant to get is a yellow climbing rose. The Russian strawberry plant has some fruit coming as well!
Wow! Just - WOW! I remember what this all looked like before you started to remove everything, then building the walls/terraces, etc. Such a monumental task! You're artistic vision amazes me whether you're creating in your garden or creating fresco's inside. The whole garden is looking fantastic & you have every reason to be proud of it! We're lucky to have a farm nearby that grows amazing strawberries & they sell them at a reasonable price too. We have what I call the world's smallest strawberry patch in our garden but it's only it's second year. It produced some berries but the bunnies ate them all which is better than slugs at least, lol. I can't express how much I enjoy what you post & I rarely "comment" on vlogs so I hope you didn't find this overlong?
Alla you are a great ambassador for a rose company,I remember your trips to the garden centre last year WHOW you have a beautiful garden absolutely stunning
The two original roses 🌹 from your balcony are my favorites. They remind me of the traditional shapes and colors of the pink and yellow of my childhood. Rose Romantic is a perfectly 😍 lovely choice. The strawberries 🍓 are a double treat; eyes and taste!
Ive never seen so many variations of roses in one garden! Im so happy your millions of trips to garden center, and hours and days and weeks of work, are really paying off! I love your first rose ever, the very best! I can almost smell it here! 😂❤😅🎉
That looked like a Japanese beetle on the rose flower.... they are very destructive. Your garden is soooo beautiful. What a joy... thank you for sharing it.. we need more joy in the world that's for sure. ❤
Was about to make same comment. They eat the roses. Best way to remove them is to brush them into a solution of water and salt in a covered container. I leave the covered container under the rose bush for convenience. I’m in Canada. Was surprised to see them in Italy.
Alla you have such beautiful roses. I was thinking aren't the black spots on the leaves caused by too much rain? The garden is so wonderful I'm sure it smells delicious. Kathy USA 🇺🇸
wow the roses are magnificent. they say a rose takes at least 3 years to establish in the ground so those of your roses that dont look too big will be better i am sure next year. By the way alla i heard that a budlia bush (that butterflies love) is very invasive and the seed plant and grow everywhere so watch for this, But your garden is so so beutiful. i was at the garden centre a few days ago and noted the price here in uk of those metal rose supports similar to the ones you made they are selling for 30 to 40 pounds thats about equivalent to 30 to 40 euros each!!!!!!
Hi Alla, the thick rose stem on the pink rose (Rosanna?) by the wall looks to me like a 'sucker' and needs to be cut away. You can tell if it is thicker, not bendy and has lots of thorns, usually grows from the base. It will take away the nourishment of the plant. Check with your garden centre. You have the most beautiful garden and I enjoy seeing your videos of all the lovely flowers.
to extendthebloomingof your roses, remove the seedpod (crack it of/cut it of: most elegantly is to cut back till the highest leaves on the branch), so the plant does not spend energy to make seeds. The plant will use the energy now to create new rosebuds.

I Still think you should change your title to: Lake Como Villa and Garden Restoration in order to attract more subscribers
Bellissima!! 🥰🥰🥰
😊😊😊
Roses should be cut above a 5 leaves...
Maybe the birds will eat the slugs! Wouldn't that be nice?
