When I think you have no more room in your garden..!!! A new tree appears. Your so Happy.. Thank you for bring us your happy personality for life. Valerie from Portland Me. USA
Put crushed eggshells around the lettuce and other tender plants. Slugs do not like to cross the sharp edges on the eggshells. Works in my garden. Also use some diatemaceous (sp?) earth.
The gardens are gorgeous and the renovations in the house are coming along beautifully! The joy you get from Sergi, your house and gardens is lovely. ❤
It’s so lovely to watch you relax with friends and start to truly enjoy the wonderful paradise you’ve both created. You deserve to sit back and admire all its beauty! Sending hugs to you both and Cheri of course! 🤗🪴💐🌳🌞🥰🩵
I love the new cypress tree! The height brings even more dimension to your gorgeous garden ❣️ And I can imagine what a pleasure it must be to cook on La Cornue bleue in the summer kitchen 😊💙
I'm so happy for you both you have made your house into a lovely home that you can now enjoy with family and friends,it was delightful to see you so happy today ,you always are but today you shone, good to see Sherrie she's a real treat, you can buy snail slug pellets or maybe bring your mum back
Cherie is absolutely a beautiful dog. Love how she was waiting for Sergi. She loves you both so much. She is a happy dog. Your garden is perfect for entertainment. Bravo, Bravo. ❤❤❤❤
Technically it's not summer till the 20th 😊 but I'll let you have your first summer paella early😂 That Cyprus already looks happy there!👌 your vision for the garden is looking perfect...
The delightful pink roses flowing above the summer kitchen are a crown of jewels adorning your outdoor oasis. When your friends join you and Sergi it is a celebration of the flowers and foliage that surround you.
The cypress tree is glorious. It gives a grand perspective to your garden & will be magnificent once it grows. I had favourite huge one @ my grandparents place in New Zealand when I was a child.
Your garden is so beautiful. I appreciate your love of nature. Where I live there is a lady who has a dog like Cheri ( King Charles Cavalier) she walks with her over the bridge by the harbor and when ever I see them I smile and say hi Cheri! ( quietly of course) one day I will find out the real name. Cheri is very helpful in the garden.
Someone suggested ducks around your garden. No ducks they belong on a big property with their own pond far far away from your house because ducks really make the area smell bad. Their poop does not break down. I’d say your garden is almost full and glorious. Love the Prosecco corner, you’re a bit of an expert of Paella yum! 😋
Runner ducks..not regular ducks.....eat snails and slugs, but don't eat the flowers or scratch and make a big mess like chickens..and runner ducks lay big beautiful eggs, too :)
Have you considered having a couple of larfe planters by the summer kitchen planted with herbs and salad leaves to hand for cooking. Put a copper band around the bottom of the pots which will deter the slugs from climbing the pots.
Greetings from Australia. Use copious amounts of coffee grinds to combat your slug problems. Healthy non- toxic for you, your garden and friendly critters I want you to enjoy your lettuces, herbs and strawberries
If those roses on the terrace are climbing roses then the upright branches should be pulled down into a horizontal position which produces many more roses for you so good idea to put wires along the wall and pin the branches to the horizontal wires you will be amazed how many more roses you get .
The garden is looking so nice and your Yummy Paella sharing with your friends why dont cover your lettuce preventing the slugs to eat them what a lovely evening on the lake Sherry is excited enjoy your walk see you soon bye
For slugs and snails I use Diatomaceous Earth. A white powder that is organic and melts the slugs, etc. Will not harm animals or humans. Here in France I grow my lettuces in a tall box with legs covered. Works well.
You should try some beer in a small container, the container dropped into a depression in the ground. The slugs and snails are drawn to the smell, they fall in and can't get back out.
I don't think there is enough space for a fountain Alla. It would be very tight. Shouldn't you leave enough room for a large table for when you have large gatherings?
I would of put the Cyprus tree more in the middle of the garden so you can look at it from the top two terraces, it would look more majestic against the background of the lake, up at the top it will just blend in with the wall ❤
I remember when you started tackling the excavation of your gardens. The transformation is absolutely amazing! What a wonderland you have created.

You have added to the beauty of Oro🙂 well done!
Maybe use one of the sunny balconies for the lettuce and chilli planters surely the slugs won’t get up that high!
I was thinking the same thing! Take the lettuce where the slugs cannot grow!
Such a beautiful garden Alla, can't believe you n Sergi turn a wild jungle in to this magical beautiful place ❤
Put crushed eggshells around the lettuce and other tender plants. Slugs do not like to cross the sharp edges on the eggshells. Works in my garden. Also use some diatemaceous (sp?) earth.
Your garden looks perfect all the hard work to get it to what it is now Alla and Sergi .You both should be very proud of what you have achieved ❤🎉
Try planting lettuce and spinach in hanging pots. It's harder for the slugs to get at the plants.
Those steel structural beams in your basement are nice to have. Looks very solid.
The gardens are gorgeous and the renovations in the house are coming along beautifully! The joy you get from Sergi, your house and gardens is lovely. ❤
The garden looks lovely, Alla.

We use nontoxic (to dogs) iron based snail and slug bait...works great!
Everything is simply beautiful!

I believe that ducks like snails and slugs, maybe three little ducklings running around your little garden😂😂😂😂❤
Duckies are cuter than slugs - but they are not generally kind to a garden or a gardener.
😊😊
You are doing so much, and adding more to the garden! I’m in awe of you two! Thank you for the great content!!!❤❤
Wow, wow wow❤❤❤
You are a master gardener...your videos always are so peaceful and ful of beauty. Thank you.
Bye some snail bait to please 😅 l love your garden ❤️
Put crushed egg shells in the bottom of your new plantings.

Get a small glasshouse for your lettuce and herbs..or try egg shells in and around the pots

I am curious about your entrance room. Have you renovated it? It is amazing how much you guys have accomplished!
If you don’t want the slugs to eat your lettuces just put some gravel around them.
You should try some beer in a small container, the container dropped into a depression in the ground. The slugs and snails are drawn to the smell, they fall in and can't get back out.
Maybe try lettuce in a raised garden so slugs can not get into the lettuce. Window box lettuce ?
I don't think there is enough space for a fountain Alla. It would be very tight. Shouldn't you leave enough room for a large table for when you have large gatherings?
Hahaha Alla always manage to find space😅😅😅
Hi, i think crushed eggshells, lime, copper tape or sawdust placed around seedling beds may prevent snails and slugs entering garden beds
u can grow the lettuces in a big pot even staggering sides with new seeds
Have you tried putting broken egg shells around the plants? I also heard if you sprinkle cayenne pepper it will keep them away?
Try watering vegetable garden with soapy dishwater, shoulddistract insects. 15:17
I had so many slugs. The best way is to put beer in jar lids level with ground.I 1 week I got rid of so many!!!
I would of put the Cyprus tree more in the middle of the garden so you can look at it from the top two terraces, it would look more majestic against the background of the lake, up at the top it will just blend in with the wall ❤
This is how you spell the tree Cypress. You have put the country spelling in your title!😊
also dietmaceous earth will destroy any slugs that move over it. they no not need to eat it
