Tanya didn't look clearly arab, she looked black but had a very light skin tone so it was hard to tell her race . But devs confirmed she is black in that game.
In 3d games besides mk4 she does look arab.
Either way to make her black isn't even a drastic change, she can be black and have an Egyptian aesthetic.
They did not changed tanyas color skin, they just changed her aesthetics i prefered how she looked like before though
I liked TMK i stopped watching when is content changed and honestly im dissapointed.... i get maybe being banned or discarded by WB/Netherrealm could burn you but maybe look inward to how you are acting maybe thats why. If he let it go and just make the creative stuff again i think he would be in a better place. I don’t understand why everyone is only hyperfocused and up in arms on Tanya being “race swapped” but have absolutely no issue with any other of the characters that have. I think they are just mad about how ethnic she looks. They wanted a more ethnically ambiguous portrayal of the character, which is why the majority rave about her MKX appearance.
