The little "old soul" brings tears to my eyes.
This performance hooked me on Angelina. Her raspy, deep voice, coupled with her unique phrasing, breathing, along with the emotion that she makes us feel is fantastic. And this is from a 7 year old!! Her performance of I Put a Spell on You at age 9 is unreal. I am definitely one of her biggest fans.

This little girl has absolutely no idea how unbelievably talented she is. That raspy throaty vocal she has fits these old songs to a T. The thing that I find amazing about her is her placing of the lyrics to run a fraction behind and ahead of the instruments but fits so perfectly. This is indeed a one in a billion gift from the heavens. 😘❤

it is so unreal to listen to a kid singing this. i have heared the song so meny times before, and felt it. but this 8 year old kid sings i and i get tears in my eys... i cant imagine that this girl understands the meaning of this song, but somehow she gets the meaning of the song so clearly through. I cant help but shedding a tear

@@SnarkierThan-U-R, if it was that simple there would be thousands of little girls who could sing like her, her innate ability to recreate what she heard combined with perfect pitch made her vocal coaches jobs easy, her musical genius was not taught but enhanced by the performing arts school she attended.

While she has grown more comfortable speaking in interviews, her greatest gift, her voice, has grown even more. She is a gift of solace in a world of despair.

I was unable to close my mouth while being totally surprised, astonished and amazed of such a lovely deep and warm voice of a girl, you expect a typical girl's voice, and than something like that.

What is remarkable, however, is the degree of voice control, pitch control, and emotionality she brings to her singing. I look forward to her continuing growth and development as she stamps her signature voice and style onto new songs written just for her.
what is really incredible is that at 9 or ten she seems to be able to emulate the original singers like Dinah Washington. she must have a marvelous ear. There is not a trace of Norwegian in the delivery not one false vowel or slip. I'd say she has had advanced English tuition at school as well as being genetically lucky. Tim Fidler NzL

@@F_Tim1961 I think the base of it all is Angelina was blessed by God, I am mesmerized when she starts sings this song. I also listen to Dinah Washington singing this song back in 1959 when she recorded it. I love them both, but at 8 I have no explanation except God gave her the natural talent!!!

I came here looking for the singer of this song on the Dos Equis commercial and came across this! She is FANTASTIC, so now I have to look her up to see what she's up to today, 9 years after this video was posted. GREAT JOB, YOUNG LADY!!
