Joe Dirt is in a coma throughout the whole movie imagining meeting his friends in their past while he slowly passes into that final sleep after being in a freak tornado storm at the beginning of the film. I think Mr. Spade could win a a Oscar for this one. Or a Raspberry.

Growing up I don't know why but I loved joe dirt watched it literally dozens of times I must of been in a different universe there's no wayyy a part 2 came out I definitely gotta give it a go

I agree with the first comment! It was always playing on cable tv on like hbo or showtime I always had it on as a kid. I was just as shocked as you were when I found out there was a 2 and I never heard of it. Unfortunately it sucked which is a shame because it had majority of the first ones cast!

There are some exceptions to that rule. Terminator 2, aliens, and ace ventura when nature calls are all superior to their original. Those are the only ones that i can think of though.
Dumb and dumber to may be not as good as the first, but I did find it to be absolutely hilarious at it's good moments

I know. Why can't they come up with something original like the first movie. On top of that sequels usually don't go over well. Probably because they know they are going the get the piggy back fame from the original and feel as though they do not have to try as hard.

So I used to LOVE Joe Dirt. Watched it over and over and over until I got sick of it. I JUST learned the other day that there was this sequel only because I happened to see it on Amazon. I ordered it, excited to watch it :D

Kinda wish they had him return to the radio station to tell a new story and catch us all up on his life since the last film. Would've made a better sequel than this.
