In the episode where the 2 therapists talk about their clients, they all change to the fake character they made up (for an example, Bojack turns into a Zebra)
Actually in the first two seasons there is also a very hard to notice detail on Bojack’s bed where one bed leg is replaced by a stack of books, and then a Golden Globe when it happens in the show.
I noticed that in the beginning of season 6, when Bojack falls into the pool, Mr. Peanut butter doesn’t tilt his head like he usually does. While Diane still does her little head tilt, Mr. Peanut Butter just stares at him blankly. I feel that this was just an editing mistake, lol, as it gets changed back to normal when Diane gets fat.
SAME. I love the entire series, but the openings have so much detail it's so fucking cool. I never skipped a single one, and they definitely hold a special place in my heart. This show is a masterpiece.
Season 6's intro with Planetarium sky shows how Bojack gets sober and how he is obliged to face his responsibilities and sense of guilt together with nostalgia.
I’m sad to see this show go, but I can understand wanting to end it. It may have been Netflix’s idea, but this show needs to end on a high note. If it was dragged on for five more seasons just to bring in more money I would be so disappointed! This show is a work of art.

Some easter egg I’ve noticed In the season 6 intro, specifically the pool part, Mr. Peanut butter makes a completely different expression than the usual ones we mostly see on the intro. He takes a look on Bojack and stares at him blankly, Showing how his guilt of cheating on Pickles started to catch up on to him and this made him slowly be less energetic due to what he has done. season 4 ,5 and 6 hurt. that’s when everything i guess took a sharp turn. in 4 because no one lived with bojack and i missed todd sm. 5 because of gina. and 6 bc it had the most emotion and always gave me goosebumps.
Nah the end of season 3 episode 11 seriously hits different for so many different reasons God that show is so fucking good its sad there was supposed to 8 seasons but Netflix canceled it
One thing I appreciate about the intro is that in the episode after something happens it stays, for example Wanda being in the intro through season 2 and leaving, the D leaving the Hollywood sign, the director getting fired from film, Todd’s female Uber business, Hollyhock staying with him in season 4, his mother joining him, and Gina being with him in season 5, even Sarah Lynn not appearing in the intros the episode after she dies, even Diane’s hair being different, even the one episode in season 5 where the therapist calls Bojack a zebra for client confidentiality, where the entire intro is him as a zebra, just the little details I like
The fact in the season 6 intro when he jumps off the balcony he isn’t drunk. He immediately goes to house, jumps off the balcony to the swimming pool. He’s faced his fate. He knows he is a bad person and his guilt is basically the representation of the black void. He knows he’s a bad person but he can’t change.
I always knew the pool scene was going to be foreshadowing something. My theory was that pennys father was going to find out what Bojack did, and he would end up going to Bojacks house to kill him during a party. (penny called the cops and thats why theres a chopper in the intro) Then he would end up shooting Bojack, making him fall into the pool, then everyone would check to see if he died. Still pretty cool to see how the foreshadow went.
3:48 on the TV behind Bojack: that's a tribute to Ralph Carney, the sax player that you can hear playing the main part on the theme, he died in 2017. He was the uncle of Patrick Carney, drummer for the Black Keys and the composer of this serie's theme
fun little thing that I noticed thats probably unintentional. In every intro apart from 6 and a third of 5 Bojack is never shown to be looking around him with him only diverting his eyes during those 2 intros. For the 5th intro, he only looks around when he's in his detective outfit which forshadows him getting too into character merging the show with his real life. And for intro 6 it could show how Bojack is more self aware of his actions and how to improve with him looking around the past places he's been through, reflecting and looking back at his mistakes as everywhere he appears in intro 6 is an area where he did something that he regrets.
I find it interesting about all the detail changes the title sequence seems to get , it changes based on what is happening, and you see characters psychically changing as well. I remember seeing that Sarah Lynn disappears from it in season 4 I believe, then her spot was taken by PBS ex wife before pickles was seen beside the TV in the spot . So many interesting little changes honestly

In the series was some variations in the intros like the 4 season, some intros shows his sister and his mom, then just his mom, etc.
Skip intro button: exist
Everyone: wow, this is worthless
his eyes in s6 intro...
season 4 ,5 and 6 hurt. that’s when everything i guess took a sharp turn. in 4 because no one lived with bojack and i missed todd sm. 5 because of gina. and 6 bc it had the most emotion and always gave me goosebumps.
Nah the end of season 3 episode 11 seriously hits different for so many different reasons God that show is so fucking good its sad there was supposed to 8 seasons but Netflix canceled it
season 6’s intro is honestly the best one and i never skipped it when i was watching it
I’ve never skipped this intro, excluding rewatching an episode.
My favorite is season 6
same
Same
i prefer season 3, but season 6 was breathtaking
I like season 5 and 4.
Same
Season 6 by far has the best opening. I love it!
5 years. 5 beautiful god damn years.
One thing I appreciate about the intro is that in the episode after something happens it stays, for example Wanda being in the intro through season 2 and leaving, the D leaving the Hollywood sign, the director getting fired from film, Todd’s female Uber business, Hollyhock staying with him in season 4, his mother joining him, and Gina being with him in season 5, even Sarah Lynn not appearing in the intros the episode after she dies, even Diane’s hair being different, even the one episode in season 5 where the therapist calls Bojack a zebra for client confidentiality, where the entire intro is him as a zebra, just the little details I like
Season 1 - 0:00
Season 2 - 0:56
Season 3 - 1:49
Season 4 - 2:42
Season 5 - 3:35
Season 6 - 4:28
It’s You Speech - 5:22
Outro Song / Credits - 5:46
The fact in the season 6 intro when he jumps off the balcony he isn’t drunk. He immediately goes to house, jumps off the balcony to the swimming pool. He’s faced his fate. He knows he is a bad person and his guilt is basically the representation of the black void. He knows he’s a bad person but he can’t change.
I noticed how sad it is when in season 5 Sarah Lynn completely Disappears from the theme because of she dying, it's a small but important easter egg.
I always knew the pool scene was going to be foreshadowing something.
My theory was that pennys father was going to find out what Bojack did, and he would end up going to Bojacks house to kill him during a party.
(penny called the cops and thats why theres a chopper in the intro)
Then he would end up shooting Bojack, making him fall into the pool, then everyone would check to see if he died.
Still pretty cool to see how the foreshadow went.
pennies father wouldnt
...nice theory tho
I just adore the little details in the background and the entire fact they change the intro once there’s a major plot point or season.
An intro that you simply cannot skip
such a brilliant show. wish I hadn’t stopped watching after season 4. i’m going to have to binge watch it for a few weeks.
its beautiful that when something happens, like a character being added or removed, or like bojacks house in season 3, the opening changes for it
Just realized in the Season 4 to 6 Sarah Lynn is not in background party :(
That’s too much man
it realy makes me sad that every time he wakes up he looks so frightened like he can never rest
The fun part of starting a new season of this show is wondering what will be added or removed from the intro.
3:48 on the TV behind Bojack: that's a tribute to Ralph Carney, the sax player that you can hear playing the main part on the theme, he died in 2017. He was the uncle of Patrick Carney, drummer for the Black Keys and the composer of this serie's theme
This brings back memories, love this show so much
Season 6 intro legitimately made me awe the first time i watched it. Like whoaa
Tribute to Ralph Carney in the season 5 intro is a nice touch. Since he did a collab to create the intro of the song.
the first time i heard the intro i was actually so surprised and amazed at how good it was
This is my theme for going into work.
It's come to the point where seeing the starry sky has become traumatic each time I see it
It's kinda wholesome that in the last opening he was reflecting about his past instead of getting drunk.
0:05 that pool on bojack's home is actually imposible.
I know! I never figuret out how that can even worked
And the intro of bojack was a zebra is where ......hmmmmm
smh give us bobo the zebra
Swillz RS bobo the zebra !!
BoBo the angsty Zebra
there’s less and less people shown in his living room (non work or tv show related) over time.
Honestly this is the best intro in the planet and the best animation serie in the planet
hands down the best title sequence in history
fun little thing that I noticed thats probably unintentional.
3:00 god this is my favorite part of any bojack intro ever
LOL, at 1:16, the fennec girl in the background is litterally making up none, cuz the character she was taking care of died earlier in that season.
The one intro it should be ILLEGAL to skip
Love how Bojack changes from looking unsettled to looking skeptical in season 5's intro.... cuz he's, well you know his disillusion in season 5
That’s a really good detail I before he was super tweaked out for half the season
The 3,4 and 6 are special
After watching this I known how BoJack feels
I find it interesting about all the detail changes the title sequence seems to get , it changes based on what is happening, and you see characters psychically changing as well.
I remember seeing that Sarah Lynn disappears from it in season 4 I believe, then her spot was taken by PBS ex wife before pickles was seen beside the TV in the spot .
So many interesting little changes honestly
I really miss this show...
Watch it again then
Season 6 intro is incredible
I love the fact that I got a Reese’s ad on this video. The only ads I will willingly watch.
