I painted the entire house walls & ceilings Silky White and trim with Ultra Pure White, and it looks stunning, open and airy! Silky White has zero yellow undertones and is very neutral. On cloudy days it seems to have a green-ish undertone. Thanks for your recommendations!

I chose Cameo White for my walls and I love it. It's neutral and balanced, looks great with ultra white trim, and you can easily decorate around it.

Love this video. Thank you for explaining the R G & B values. I have always been a Swiss coffee gal but you inspired me to try ultra white. This house doesn’t get as much light so I am thinking a higher LRV might be the way to go!

Hi, great video! I have used silky white many times when I want to paint a piece of furniture white and have gray in the walls or violet walls. Used it recently as trim with a pink lavender on my daughters walls. It’s just a little softer than builders white. It would be quite cool on walls I think. Weathered white is another great white with cooler undertones but a soft look. I was going to use Swiss coffee on a south facing screened in porch and it became too yellow ish so I did weathered white. The perfect white for such a room!!

I am so glad it was helpful! My guest bedroom is facing southwest so it gets that beautiful afternoon golden glow. I love the white color of Ultra Pure White by Behr in this room. Keep in mind that this white is a white white. If you want a more off white color look at Blank Canvas by Behr. It is a nice neutral base white. I used it in my closet converted to butlers pantry and love it! It is on the side walls in the pantry. Good luck!

I used matte White (52), the third from the last color you profiled, on all my walls and then the same in semi-gloss for the trim. It’s very neutral and soft and almost reads like grey. Very chic.
Thank you for this. Been trying to decide whether to go with a warmer or cooler white to pair with navy cabinets, dark stainless appliances and dark wood floors... leaning cameo or swiss coffee, but seems like it could go any direction as long as it's light
I think i will paint my north facing master bedroom in Behr's Swiss Coffee. Its quite a large room and I'm tempted to add a feature wall behind the bed. I love beachy themes, but I dont want to use a cold blue.
Polar Bear by Behr is almost indistinguishable from Simply White by Benjamin Moore, so if you are looking for a paint like Simply White but what something a little more affordable, I suggest sampling Polar Bear by Behr.

Hi, Love your videos! I would love to know what "white" you would probably recommend for a dark hallway, with warm colors painted in every feed off room?
This video is great! Weve already chosen Ultra Pure White for our ceilings, would it be better to choose a similar white like Natural White or an off white like Swiss Coffee for our walls? We cant decide!
Oh and spun wool is beautiful too, but I only did it on a small cabinet where the walls were ashen tan behr. These are next to each other on a chip and looked very nice! Ashen tan is in the range of lightness of burnished clay but more brown/pinky red so warmer than burnished clay.

Thanks for the informative video on Behr whites. Previously I have found pure white too sterile and wanted a little tiny bit of yellow and gold to add creaminess to the white. Which Behr white would acheive that smidge of cream?

We do prefer cooler tones, but thought blank canvas might be best as it is the color of 2023. We have black hardware on our doors as extra information. Thank you again. 😃
Thank you! I am so glad this has helped. Blank Canvas is a great color for your entire house. However, it does have a warmer undertone and if placed next to white it is slightly off-white but personally, I think it has a cozier feeling. I used Bakery Box for trim, baseboards, doors throughout my house. I love the super crisp look with my earthy gray quartzite counters that has charcoal and taupe veins. I'm wondering if weathered white walls would work with the cool bright white trim. I also am choosing a black or dark charcoal accent color above the fireplace. I'm not super fond of the cool black options. Are there any neutral or slightly warm blacks that would work?

I used Behr Painters White in my living room/dinning, and it looks like a very light gray on my darker wall, but the wall that has a lot of light coming in looks more white, but I would say it has a grayish white. I also painted my bathroom and guest room Polar Bear and it does have a yellow undertone when compared to a white, but it looks just like a neutral white when you don't compare it. I love both, but love Painted white more, I feel like it has more personality plus everything is gray in those rooms.
I just got a sample of Blank Canvas and it had orange -y beige tones. I was shocked because I was prepared to love it.
I'm considering Swiss Coffee and Cameo White.
That doesn't sound right. Any chance they mixed it wrong? It is one number away from Swiss Coffee so basically the same color as Swiss Coffee. Another thought is your lighting. If your lighting is a warm light it can make the color look more on the warm side meaning yellow undertones. If you change your bulbs to a cool light it will make it not as yellow. However, not everyone loves living in a cool light setting and in that case I would go with a white with a cool undertone. I hope this helps!

Hi, I am learning a lot from your videos, thank you. I currently have kitchen cabinets painted with Kelly Moore antique white color, LRV 82. I am thinking of painting the walls in my kitchen and dining room combo. With Swiss coffee by Behr. My back splash is travertine, and my floor tile is a pinkish brown terracota color . Not sure if that would be ok. Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

Wish I saw your video before heading to Home Depot. :( I wanted a nice white color on my * small kitchen walls & hallway * -- one that can contrast with Ultra Pure White paint for trim/doors. I chose "Bit of Sugar" (LRV 89 R 244 G 242 B 236) one these wall. Omg, waaaay too white. Like a sterile/cold/stark white. I don't like it at all. (yes, should've tested!) Hello 👋 thank you so much for this video 😊 I was just wondering. We're putting in blonde wood floors in our family room,and I was thinking of painting the room sleek white. I'm not sure if that's too many yellow tones? I want the eoom to look warm but not over stated, its north facing. As a renter (been in this house for 11 years) I treat this house as my home, and our landlady lets us paint. even though it’s not mine.
I have to think about how I could quickly get this house in ship-shape if we ever had to leave. So I’m thinking of using Ultra Pure white on the hallway, two of the bedrooms, the laundry room and dining room.
Since there’s no tint to match, whenever we have to leave, it should be simple to touch up this way.

I am trying to pick a white Behr paint color for my kitchen cabinets and trim that matches with store bought faux wood blinds. My walls are light gray backsplash is darker gray but blinds look a little of a creamier tone but still white. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Your video was very informative. Thank you. We are building a semi open concept home with lots of sunlight in most of the rooms. I love swiss coffee and the wall color behind you in the video. I want to paint all of the trim and doors a little darker and shinier than the wall the same throughout. What would your recommend pairing with Swiss mocha or a color like your creamy color? I don't want any yellow, grey or pink undertones. Than you so much.

I am happy you made this video. My husband offered ro paint all our doors and trim, instead of paying $$$ to a professional painter. I wanted High Reflective White by Sherman Williams. However, the Ultra Pure White by Behr, with its neutral tone and high LRV, is one I want to look at, primarily for its lower price point. What finish would you recommend for doors/trim and baseboards -- semi gloss or something else?
I am glad this video is helpful! I use semi-gloss mostly on doors and trim. Occasionally I use high gloss too for a high end look but for the most part I use semi-gloss.
you mention ultra pure white on your bedroom trim and walls, but not the shiplap wall. what paint color did you use on the shiplap wall??
Great video. Question. If I use the same color for trim and walls can I still use ultra pure white for doors? For example, if I use a white that isn’t ultra pure white for walls and trim would it still look okay to paint doors ultra pure white or should that be the same color for trim as well? Thanks
Yes you can! But it can be tricky meaning if your doors are a white with a yellow undertone they could look dingy. I would try it out on one door after you paint the walls and trim to see what you think.

You're welcome! The paint color on the wall behind me is Bone White by Benjamin Moore but it looks darker in the video. It looks like Kilim beige by Sherwin Williams in the video.

Would you recommend the Ultra Pure white for all trim and all ceilings for an entire house, particularly when planning the best greige color for living area walls and maybe other less neutral colors for some bedrooms and bathrooms? We want to paint all ceilings before moving any furniture inside and decide wall colors as we go.
Yes Ultra Pure White would make a great trim and ceiling white.
hello!! I Want to use Ultra Pure White for trims door, door, and floor trims in semi gloss BUT although I want to use the same color for the ceiling, I don't know if it would look good to use it in semi gloss or in matte, which finish would you choose for the ceiling?
Ceilings should use matte...definitely not semi gloss

Try a sample of Swiss Coffee. I would look there first.
Please help. I painted walls throughout my home Behr Dove by dynasty marquee. What color should I do the trim? Right now they are off white and it does not look good. Is there a good color white for doors and trim to look good with Dove dynasty marquee? Also what other colors would be complimentary???
Dove is a pretty color. I would go with Ultra Pure White for the trim.

This is a good question. If you want a bright white with a warm undertone look at Alabaster by Sherwin Williams. If you want the white to have a neutral undertone with a lower LRV then look at Shoji White by Sherwin Williams. For Behr look at Blank Canvas or Swiss Coffee. These are both nice white colors.

What would be a good white to put with revere pewter? In Behr or whatever else you recommend? It’s a west facing room.
My go to for white trim is extra white or alabaster by Sherwin Williams.

This is a very good question. Try Behr Blank Canvas or Swiss coffee. These are great colors if you want to paint a room white.

If you are asking about the bedroom that is Behr Ultra Pure White on the walls and trim. This is a small bedroom but gets a flood of light in the afternoons. Both these colors are great. You can use white on the walls with even better beige on the trim or vic versa. They are both great colors and easy to work with.
