- If you were also skeptical of silent discos when they first came about, I feel you. Today, we're really getting into it with a full gear review of this silent disco DJ equipment. Shoutout to Simon over at Silence Activations for hooking it up so we can walk through this gear together.
DJ Pro Tip: let’s talk about range. If it’s a large indoor or outdoor area without concrete walls and obstruction, the operator’s manual states up to 500 yards! Inside, if there are obstructions, I would estimate about 300 feet.

I'm currently DJing on a cruise ship, the silent disco is by FAR the biggest party of the cruise.
That's awesome to hear! If they need more headphones, get them to reach out to my guy.
the more DJs don't get involved with this the more $$$$ I make. I have been running silent parties in SC/C for 5 years now and it is 30% or my annual revenues. DJs wont get involved because of the investment, but will spend thousands on buying controllers, mixers, and other gear that is making them the same money. Great review Joe

With the rca to lightning, a DJ could have a Hercules mobile mixer with their phone and throw a proper silent disco party anywhere!
I was introduced to silent clubbing in NYC a few years ago! Had a Blast!!!! If you have outdoor events that are in areas where you have a sound ordinance this is the fix for that!!!!

Im about a year into silent headphone parties. The concept isn't catching on very fast in my area(DFW, TX) but there is a market for it.
It's gotta be the right venue or event, or some place with restrictions on sound

What sort of volume can you get out of the cans ?...
More than enough to dance and sing to.
I can see where it might be needed. But for myself if I was going out I want to feel as well as hear the music. I don’t want to dance around with no dang headphones on. A big pass for me.
Well of course everyone wants that. But what if you're in a venue with a sound db limit or sound has to drop at 11pm? This is the move.
