    omg.......best wheelie I've seen on a Dorsoduro. I own a Dorsoduro factory but haven't been able to wheelie like you. great job!!

      +Juraj Monček you have to learn to use the back brake and maintain the bike's balance point in order to be able to wheelie properly. Im not saying this to make you feel bad or something, it's actually for your own good. I personally crashed twice and went to the hospital once because i was doing power wheelies and didnt know how to use the back brake, and fell behind, and then i promised myself to learn how to wheelie properly. Sorry if my previous comment made you feel bad, and good luck if you are willing to try and improve.

      Timmy Chen im either bringing my wheel up too quick in 1st and shitting myself or got a job to get it up in 2nd more than 3 inches off the ground

    • @timmychen6
      @timmychen6 Před 7 lety +1

      I can do a wheelie on 1st gear but not second. I can't shift during wheelie though so it falls down in 2 seconds.

  • @nthopk
    @nthopk Před 9 lety +4

    Nice wheelie. my the 750 looks a lot easier to control on bringing up the front wheel than the 1200. the 1200 is so savage everything seems so spastic. Good looking wheelie, keep it up!!

    I just recently got one of those 2009 with Acrapovic, it looks in this video like you reached almost 200 without a lot of effort, mine seems like it would take more to get to that, can it be because of the exhaust? I love the sounds of it but it seems like it may take away some power? What do you think?

    • @duri285
      @duri285  Před 2 lety

      Hello. When i bought the bike 8 y ago with 20k km it seemed a bit lazier than when i sold it.Cant tell whats wrong with yours but mine did 222kmh (rev limiter) without a doubt on straights( check my other video), sold it with 65k km on the clock this summer 😁 Maybe you should check the air filter, or even the chain also try 100octane gasoline 🚀

    In the S mode. Cluth is not required to do wheelie..but terrible bike in terms of reliability. Start motor always fried. Changed twice and happened again within same month. Got rid of it after 2months. Pity ..such nice bike with twin exhuast.

    Will it loft the front high enough with clutch in 3rd, at say 65+km/h? Trying to decide between the 750 Aprilia, KTM 690 or Honda's desert racer xr650R... cheers

  • @MisterPetrolhead
    @MisterPetrolhead Před 9 lety +1

    Why do you use the clutch when shifting up while doing a wheelie ?

    • @duri285
      @duri285  Před 9 lety +1

      Mister Petrolhead thats just the way I do it .. dont know why :D

    • @MisterPetrolhead
      @MisterPetrolhead Před 9 lety +1

      Don't ! it's much easier without. Only use the clutch when going from first to second. After that give some pressure against your gear selector and let go the throttle. You'll feel it will drop into the next gear. This is much faster and won't harm your gearbox ! good luck :D

    Nice wheelie Bro!
    Until which gear can you do wheelies with the dorsoduro, without using the clutch?
    I can do both with and without, I dont prefer one over another, it is totally depending on the bike, and its injection managment.
    Kepp it up!!!! and ride safe ;)

    • @duri285
      @duri285  Před 9 lety

      Tristan Ulreich i prefer clutch up .. but the bike can do power wheelie on 1st gear ;)

    • @FACTOTUM_55
      @FACTOTUM_55 Před 7 lety +3

      carlos vazquez for commuting I'd recommend the shiver, it's got a larger fuel tank and a more comfortable seat. I can only get 160km Max of range on my dorso. it's only a 12litre tank
