- In this video I'm going to be telling you more about my new bike which is the Ghost Riot Enduro universal. I made this video because I didn't actually give very much info about it in the unboxing video. I'm super happy with this bike and can't wait to shred.
Hope you enjoy. - Zábava
Been waiting for this video for too long
Love the colour scheme!
Great video! Overall looks like a really good bike! Hope your back will be ok soon!
Thanks so much. Yeah the back is getting better so getting closer to shredding🤙🤙🤙
What size is it and how much travel does the seatpost have ?
Does the rear spring shock absorber have a regulator to make it harder?
I have the size large. The seat post is fully adjustable. I'm guessing the range is about 125mm to 280mm. The rear shock has compression which does make the shock feel harder or softer depending on how you have it set.
Hey dude. I just bought the same brand new one (universal) from a big online German shop. After my first ride (normal easy trails) last sunday I found a big crack on the shock at the top mount. The front brake rotor makes a loud noise and vibration (from some factory extruding points on the disc) although brand new. The front fork has some dents on the side of the crown. I personally think that for these components this bike has at such a price, Ghost must have made a deal for parts with defects or something...
In my opinion the Fox Van is a very cheap shock, was discontinued in 2019 and passed on to Marzocchi since then. The Essential model has the Bomber shock (newer production than the Van), and that makes me wonder why the "same" shock on two different models. Maybe the Bomber beeing better since it is a much newer model than the Fox Van.
That's a pitty because I really like how the bike rides, its geometry and overall feel.
Have you noticed anything on yours?
When I received the bike in the post it had a few tiny scratches on the frame from transport and after a couple of weeks the dropper post developed a bit of play. I also noticed that one of the linkage bolts came loose and stripped out the frame because the chain ring held it in. I've sent the bike back and it should be covered by warranty but I'm still waiting to hear back. I also love the way the bike handles and am also a bit disappointed that I've had problems with it. To answer your question, as I've said, I have had problems with it but none seemed to be from faulty parts except maybe the dropper. Such a shame we've both had problems with it because it's such a sweet bike.
@@ikmtb hahaha I've forgotten to mention that during my first ride the dropper also started to move immensely (almost an hour and half, taking the clock for reference). And the fork crown was rubbing during transportation where it left a definite mark, wearing off at least the finish. Actually, I'm gonna check all the things you mentioned as well. I'd keep an eye on that shock :) I hope all is well with your bike. Cheers!
Could you tell more about feeling when you climbing on this bike? It's hard because geo is really aggressive.
It's definately designed for the downhill but for the slack head angle and amount of suspension it's better that you'd expect. It has a very steep seat tube angle which puts your weight forwards more which definately does help with the climbs.
@@ikmtb What about cornering, technical or not, the bike is really long and chain stay lenght is 455 so it's very long. What are your feelings when you have a short corner on a trail?
It's been fine for me.
My next Bike Ghost Riot😍
🤙 make sure you regularly check the torque of the bolts because I had a linkage bolt come loose and strip the thread out resulting in needing a new frame.
@@ikmtb thanks for the hint Bro✌🏼
How much does it cost
It retails for about AU$5000 but I got it brand new for just under AU$4000
Which size do you drive?
I went with the size large. Usually I'd go for XL but this brand and model make big bikes
