I just discovered, that if you use the “PRO TEN” option for the Audio Warp Algorithm, instead of the “LEAST CPU”, audio samples sound a lot better when you slow them down or speed them up.
Learning this machine is like taking a college course...lol.

Ave if you hit shift in sample edit and click 0 snap it helps with avoiding the pops in samples. If you didn’t know 💪🏽

Is there a way in sample edit to mark just a small portion of the sample to do fade ins and outs to get rid of clicks and pops like on Maschine?
MakingMadBeats yeah, you bring the front barrier of the sample towards the end as if you’re editing everything out; you click process, and then fade out. Next bring the front barrier back to it’s original position and you’re gucci.

Pops in sample are created by a start or end point not finishing on exact line point

Man I'm loving my MPC One...Ive always wanted one since 97 when I first saw an mpg 2000 and Too Short talked about it on his albums...by the time I finally buy one its the MPC one. thanks so much for the lessons and videos. The videos been helping me learn and and get the hang of the mpc.
Thanks again for your tutelage! I have the MPC ONE PLUS AND BASICALLY THEY WORK THE SAME FOR ME. Decades ago I was messing around with the older MPC’s and now I feel like doing music again.

Great video! I’ve been trying to get familiar with mine, and this vid definitely helped. Haven’t had an MPC in 20 years, and have been trying to get better with the OP-1, and a few other synths. Love the One, though. Not crazy about the drum sounds on my DB Impact, OP-1 drums sound like tin, but the One is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

Hey... I have that one too lol I’m using the mpc one as a midi sequencer and running everything through the Dj 808 for mixing and effects then running the outs from that back into the mpc one for finishing touches. I love this little machine, it does so much.
