I used to use a custom business domain name GSUITE account for my real estate business, but I found that my emails were always going to spam folders! Meanwhile, a lot of my colleagues are using personal Gmail accounts and always wondered why, it doesn't look as professional Afterall. Well, It is because personal gmail accounts hardly get flagged while business accounts hardly make it to the clients inbox! This is a huge issue, one that has forced me to use a personal Gmail account. It almost always reaches the client's inbox this way, therefore it's better for my business.
There's a couple of tweaks you can make in the Admin page to make the spam filtering less aggressive in Workspace.

@@AlexBooster Turning off enhanced spam filtering, and leaving the default keep in inbox under safety settings. I only put quarantine for use of domain name or similar domain. Also worth applying to groups as well to prevent spoofing.

I totally agree with you. I’ve seen that happen so many times. I know the gmail is not as professional but I’m not gonna lose business just to have a Business email.
Most importantly, the quality of someone’s work/services is what really matters to the customer.

No, you don't need Google Workspace account but you do need an account with Integromat or Zapier. However, you can have access to wider integration features with a Google Workspace account.

I do believe it is kind of low rent and cause for alarm, for any given hiring company and its HR manager to not have their on-brand e-mail server. Especially when they initiated outreach via LinkedIn or ZipRecruiter.

Great video, but I still have a question. I'm eighteen years old and currently starting a band. At the moment I have zero budget as we're not yet playing shows. So G Suite is not really possible right now, even though it looks great. As I'm the leader of the band would it be an idea to use my personal email for band related stuff? I have a professional paid personal email domain.

Basically just make a new email specifically for your band with your band's name. Don't mix your business and personal. If you can, you should get a whole new phone/device that you use your businesses email on so you can also receive all your business calls there. It will also be easier to schedule shows and meetings on your calendar without confusion.
Make sure ur bandname is the same on the email, insta, Twitter, and CZcams if you can.

why make a gmail business when yahoo got SSL encryption already? i mean thats the only reason to make a business email and especially from google when yahoo provides the same thing for free...correct me if im wrong here.

I just finished watching a really good video on how to set it up with Gmail and the whole time hes linking everything my mind just gets overwhelmed because I’ve had issues with things being linked before when something goes wrong so I didn’t like that idea as well as like you said it being actually professional.
I want to know the best thing to use. Is it Gsuite ? Or something with Yahoo etc, for the best standard business account where you send & receive etc, and have customer service if needed etc.

Microsoft services connect to outlook with contacts and calendars where google doesn’t. If you had a windows pc with a Samsung phone with an iPad don’t use google. Office365 even Hotmail use a better connection than google.

Gmail is horrible I don’t have any of my old emails or numbers I can’t sign in my old accc there no costumer service where you can talk to a human to help get your acc back. It’s very unprofessional no matter how many people us this there thousands of lost emails

Funny story to share: I was applying for a job and the rep gave me their gmail account and wanted me to send my resume there. I decided not to apply to that company. Gmail is so unprofessional and I lose respect if any organization or business is using gmail.
