I have to say, I’m a big fan of the way you structure your videos. You let the video play, you don’t pause every 30 seconds and have something to input about his collection, you’re very straight forward and quick when you do pause the video and it’s genuinely useful information. I know I’m very late to this video, but your content is amazing. I appreciate a collector who simply respects another collection rather than envy it. Keep it up man :).

I don't own many funkos only around 25 or so but the ones I own are characters I like. If they were to plummet in value I wouldn't care since their vinyls based on my favorite characters.
That is exactly how I collect. I could care less about the value of them.
I own 3 but they are ones i like i dont collect for rarity honestly
@@SawsanTrilogy i have rare ones but in the sense that scalpers went crazy on them. I have Uta, Spike, and Death the Kid. They got expensive either because of new shows based on the character or a new line of funkos. Anime funkos usually tend to get expensive after a while which sucks

Max is a weird dude, love his content but for a collector I guess he always seemed a little Chaotic, He has probably at least the same worth of Pokemon cards if not way more, and he does not really have them stored properly, he also does this thing where he buys stuff to open and stuff to save, so he has boxes of super rare stuff just stacked up, Max makes great content though.
He collects stuff just because they're collectable. It's a numbers game. Then after he only cares about the things that are actually unique or from a series/game/movie/whatever that he actually likes. I've got the same problem

It's always weird hearing people talk about Pop Vinyl figures as being "amazing". I always appreciate a good collection and rare stuff but damn, I just don't understand people who *genuinely* find them cool or good looking.

Max knows its a problem. He collects things he doesn't even want, ie pokemon postcards, sleeves and boxes. Got to imagine him getting some of this stuff shipped to Australia is ridiculously pricey.
Probably why he's having trouble selling his collection now. Imagine dropping a shit ton of money for the item and then paying for shipping out of Australia on top of that.
There’s some salty comments about a person who is spending his money on what he wants because he enjoys it. Collecting had been a thing is man’s beginning. What you find ugly is beautiful to someone else. What you find worthless is valuable to someone else. Find what YOU enjoy and do that. This is from someone who owns 3 Pops. I appreciate the passion..heck I‘ll watch a stamp collection video because focused interests are so fascinating. Watching Pops videos appeals to my pop culture sensibilities making it even more fun.
