Magnificat - Serbian chant

"Song of the Virgin" - the hymn of the Orthodox Matins, preceding the 9th ode of the canon.
Compiled on the text of the eulogy of the Virgin Mary (Luke 1:46-55), with the addition of the refrain "Most honorable cherub ..." to each verse.

My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
The most honest cherubim and the most glorious seraphim without comparison, who without corruption of God the Word gave birth to the present Mother of God, we magnify Thee.
Like a contemplation of the humility of His servant, behold, from now on, all birth will please Me.
