As always, stellar advice!! One thing I’ve noticed on the regulatory side of things is that even if a city allow’s STR’s, a growing number of properties with HOA’s have a straight up ban on STR’s. So people should check the CC&R’s before they buy. We were hoping to rent out our casita on our primary residence property after our daughter moves out, but learned that our HOA prohibits it. Whomp whomp.
