@@PlanetWar This is another verse taken out of context. John was speaking to the Church and being that the Church buildings werent as predominant, the Church people would gather in other's homes. He was warning against the Church from giving exposure and no hearing to deceivers who do not hold to the truth of Christ. This doesnt mean we cannot talk or evangelize unbelievers as we are commissioned by Jesus to do.

Matthew 27:5 "So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself"

Did Judas throw away the money or did he used the money to buy a field?
Did Judas Hanged himself or did he died because of some type of accident?

Matthew 27:5 and acts 1:18 isn't contradictory because the account in acts 1:18 is the 2nd stage of his death so judas hanged himself and then the rope broke and then he fell

The Quran affirms the Bible and doesn't reject it:

• “And We caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow in their footsteps, confirming that which was (revealed) before him in the Torah, and We bestowed on him the Gospel wherein is guidance and a light, confirming that which was (revealed) before it in the Torah - a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil)” (Surah 5:46).
• “It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong)” (Surah 3:3).
• “If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt. And be not thou of those who deny the revelations of Allah, for then wert thou of the losers” (Surah 10:94-95; 16:43).
No one can change Allah's words:
[Say (O Muhammad)] "Shall I seek a judge other than Allah while it is He Who has sent down unto you the Book (The Qur'an), explained in detail." Those unto whom We gave the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] know that it is revealed from your Lord in truth. So be not you of those who doubt. And the Word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can change His Words. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. S. 6:114-115 Hilali-Khan

Premise #2 The Gospel and the Torah was changed
Conclusion: Some of Allah's words were changed

This is my question to all Christians if Jesus is the final prophet and the light and the way and guidance that we have to follow then how come we only know 1-3 (at best) years of his life only? don't you think it would make more sense for God to perpetuate his entire life and his teachings? Jesus spoke Aramaic and the new testament was written in Greek so being a trilingual myself I know that it is impossible to emulate the original expressions in 1 language and transform it into another so the original expressions of Jesus were never captured?

And the disciples themselves were those who walked with him and talked with him and saw Him die and witnessed His resurrection. They wrote their accounts in Greek themselves. It was the common language of that day that many spoke, so it makes perfect sense they wrote it in Greek. They wanted to reach as many as possible with the greatest news ever of being reconciled to God through the cross of Jesus Christ. I'm sorry when the priest could not even answer the question you asked but instead deflect it, did not convince me at all, but I do like the answer he told you which could be said for all Religion, not just Christianity. What studied did he learn from Islam exactly? I heard more about Christianity than Islam. No evidence or facts just based on opinion.
At the end of the day it's not Islam that's bad, it's the people that make it worse. Bringing up killing in Islam is not all facts. Everyone kills, every day on the news people are killing others, and they're not even Muslim, they are Christians, but the media don't say that. Exactly why Jesus died for your sins when you guys are the ones who killed him in the first place. So we can't compare the religion when it's not the cause, but instead, it's the people. Iran can change but at the end of the day we belong to Allah and we all will return to him.

Jesus didn't fail at all and he fulfilled the prophecies, if you read the bible you will realize that a sacrifice was needed and the ancient Israelites used to sacrifice spotless lambs for the forgiveness of sins and jesus was the ultimate sacrifice that will cleanse us from all our sins.
The reason why the jews did not accept him was because their hearts were hardened and even if jesus showed them proof through his miracles they still wouldn't believe.

Arianism came in the 4th century and Arianism doesn't portray the quranic jesus because the arians believed that he was only half divine and the son of god but not fully God
none of the earliest scholars portrayed him as just a human prophet but a fully divine and a fully human being.
Christian beliefs do not come from Paul, they come before him and Paul opposed Christianity and killed many Christians before his conversion to Christianity.

In Matthew 22:41-44, Jesus Christ (Christ meaning “Anointed One”) expressly identifies Himself as the “Lord” to be “seated” at the Father’s right hand. The Jews, in this passage, are faced with a truth they did not want to accept: namely, that the Christ was not JUST a descendant of David, but was also David’s “Lord.” That is, Christ is both human…and God!
