    Absolutely incredible finds. I love sea glass but do not have beaches as rich as the beaches you visit. I have just started watching and get very excited watching. Love Bear, and love that you share in other countries. Spain was wonderful...lol all your videos are wonderful. I get dizzy when you get excited when finding several pieces at a time. I will go to your other videos so I can understand some of terminology better. Thanks you sharing😊

    I enjoyed your Seaham sea glass adventure! You found some beautiful pieces. My bucket list was to go there. I went in September last year for a week from the US. I met 4 other people visiting Seaham from the US while I was there. I found everyone friendly there. I could have stayed for the whole month! The green and yellow milk glass you found is actually glass tile called vitrolite. The Beach Combing magazine did an article on it January/February 2023 issue. The milky color is beautiful. I really like the mint green. I was able to find some pieces that were red and blue also. I really enjoyed a couple of restaurants. The Lamp room and Ashoka. Thank goodness for the North Beach Coffee Bar. Great sandwiches, chai tea, and clean bathrooms. I hope your next Seaham beach combing adventure brings your a big red and orange multi and the next piece of pirate glass is cobalt blue!!! Happy hunting!!

    * The fossil at the 40:57 mark is called "Hexigonaria" & If it were not worn down but filled with Agate instead, it would be called a "Petoskey stone" & could be polished & made into jewelry.. I have a Polished Petoskey Pendant from Michigan in the USA.. Love Fossils..

    Finding a lot of pirate glass of late. Do you do anything with yours? I just put it in a tub, unfortunately. Just missed you last time at Seaham. A couple of Irish Americans said hello to you. I spoke to them on beach day after. Bubbles are my favourites. I love the shape. Great videos, and I've started to do the odd one for fun 😅

    The multicoloured seaham seaglas must be quite valuable by now,they must be getting scarcer with each passing year. Although it seems there's always more coming from the depths of the ocean.

    • @welshinwellies
      @welshinwellies  Před rokem

      It’s getting fewer and further between with the pieces smaller as they get worn down over time. Ive seen people selling them for between £20-50!

    There was another blue piece at 11:36 NW behind a triangle shaped dark stone. On my screen I see a glowing green piece of glass NE of your hand at 12:08. So many blue multi's and brown ones. Is that a piece of blue glass at 36:11 top of screen north of your fingers? I'm not sure if it's glass or a rock but it looks blue on my screen at 42:35 just to the right of the big black rock.

    • @welshinwellies
      @welshinwellies  Před rokem

      Probably! It’s impossible to see them all. So many times on this beach you find a multi right next to someone’s rake mark and they’ve missed it! Well spotted - good eyes ☺️
