this is haunting ..it saddens me that this style of music filled with love and soulful passion is no longer the norm ..when i listen to elvis sing this song it makes me realise how beautiful life was once upon a time , he captures the atmosphere of the 60s filled with happiness and freedom , his voice and style of singing will never ever be repeated and unfortunately to my sad surprise elvis has flown away and so will we .. as far as im concerned , when elvis died so did modern music .
Elvis will always be with us as long as we listen to his wonderful voice. 45 years gone and I listen to him every day. Millions more like me.

I've been a fan since as far back as I remember and I'm now 59 so my admiration for him has grown to a different level, Now I appreciate him more for the human that he was , his humanity, his generous heart, his humility and the respect that he gave to each individual whomever they were. Off course I'm still obsessed with his drop-dead gorgeous self and I have a better understanding of his musical ability and versatility . Oh dear, I can go on and on.

There is something about this song and the way Elvis sings this one, it seems like exitment in the air, it seems hopeful about life, it seems peaceful, it encourages you. How can there be this much feeling in a song? Only Elvis had that gift to bring it all out amazing! I think I will play it one more time, For The Good Times lol. PS, he sung that one good also.

Im 74 now & still idolize ELVIS.From my teens he became someone special & his music was out of this world & still is.Regret he died so young with so much to offer, lets learn the lesson that some one ( eg tom parker )can take control over the vunerable also try to avoid medication.I know from expierince.

Totally agree, I’m a big fan of Elvis and as a 17 year old boy it’s quite different. When I sing my family and friends say I’m amazing and I sound just like him (E) but I know I’ll never be as amazing, it’s not just the voice!

There's hundreds of thousands of pictures of Elvis. More than anyone in history. He was always kind and generous with all who wanted to photograph him. Everyone did. Any pictures from the early Vegas years are not quite so numerous as the showroom didn't allow them. Just sneaked ones mostly. I've seen every picture ever posted of him on all You Tube videos because I've been around in the Elvis world where they are plentiful. Elvis hardly took a bad pictures until the last few years of his life.

I have loved this song from the first time I heard it 45 years ago (WHAT?) and the pics from the late 60's and early 70's are really superb. Right when, as a 13 year old , I became an Elvis fan for life.

Its really funny to think that one of Elvis's biggest fears was that he would one day be forgotten . Yea, maybe when the world comes to an end ! Probably not even then.What he had was pure divine magic. There has never been or will there ever be an entertainer who commands the love of their fans like he does. When he died it was like losing a family member ! I know I speak for all of us fans when I say that when he died a piece of each and every one of us died with him. When he died, music died ! Every thing since has just been noise !!
