- This Space Engineers Survival Challenge has No Jet Pack, No Refineries, High Gravity, Low Oxygen, Meteors, Spiders (saberoids), Wolves, aggressive AI spawns from the Assertive Combat Systems mod, and more to make this our greatest Space Engineers Survival Challenge yet! In this Space Engineers episode we combat severe weather lightning and spiders (saberoids) to stay alive. This Space Engineers playthrough is delivered in a compressed Let's Play format that combines entertainment and Space Engineers information.
Primary Challenge Rules/Game Settings:
- Pertam Spawn w/ Drop Pod
- No jetpack
- No basic or large refinery
- Assertive Combat Systems: steamcommunity...
- Automatic LCDs: steamcommunity...
- Spiders On
- Wolves On
- Meteors On
- Weather On
- Economy On
- Convert to Station Off
- 3 Drills
- 2 Welders
- No Moons (remove through Admin screen, Entity removal)

- No Asteroids (though I may of messed up this setting; there may only be fewer)
- Extremely Harsh Destination Planet (TBD)

You can mine spiders for large steel tubes. It takes a while. But when you're only running on a survival kit it's mana from heaven.
I'm probably going to play this challenge in tandem with you. I love the idea.

I've just finished editing the first episode of my Escape From Pertam and I'm working on the second. I'll leave you a note here when it's posted. those spiders are a real pain i wont turn them on makes game play not fun
