-Warning it may anger Clang.
-Based off the Immensity Wreck encounter in the game Ixion
-ship may or may not pressurize
Ship carry capacity:
-48x fighters

I wish something like this could be practical. Imagine ships like this jumping to enemy stations and unleashing 40 fighters and bombers... oh the glory
Maybe if games like Space ENgeneers and Empyrion take some lessons with X4, you could do something pratical with a ship like this.
I know next to nothing about SE but wouldn't the AI stuff be capable of letting out said 40 vehicles and escaping (the vehicles or drones being printed on board). Idk atleast in concept wouldn't the drones be capable of yk wasting their ammo on said target and then using themselves as bombs? I know it's hella difficult but it could be done right?
You could do it 100%. However, the problem is that a ship like that will lag out the server/your pc. This one is riddled with subgrids (grid connected to another grid by rotors, hinges etc). So on top of the impossible size of it you also get subgrids that cause problems. The drones ain't the problem, the carrier is xD@@Culpze If clang isn't a word you're familiar with, you're gonna find out by connecting anything through subgrids xD
Yea i''d be down for that@@efxnews4776
@@mindmachinepsy XD thank you for the reply!
That design is absolutely wild. Wish SE could handle that on a normal avg server.
maybe se2 :P
@@agoddamnferrethere’s hoping
Imagine this next to mini mars xD i feel like this would dwarf that planet
Navies!!! NAVIES!!! - Plural Navy. Although United Nativities sounds like a religious craft which makes it feel all the more Templar-like :D
XD hahaha
😂 👍
Torpedo up your navities 😂
It definitely gives Homeworld 2 vibes.
I think it looks like the UN Superstructure are from Ixion (the debris field POI) and I love it
@@ItsZakW The design was based on it hence the similarity.
@@ItsZakW that is literally what it is lol
@@ItsZakW It is, but it is also similar to Homeworld 2 battlecruisers and carriers.
Definitely gives me Hiigaran Battlecruiser vibes.
I'm pretty sure the ship design comes from the game IXION for anyone wondering. Not sure it's said in the video. The ship appears as one of the exploration sites in the game and you can see an art of it showing it's huge size.
Edit: read through the comments on steam and yes, it's confirmed, the design is based from the ship you find in IXION. That's 100% awesome. I feel like ixion has gone under the radar of a lot of people even though it's pretty cool (something like Frostpunk in space).
It absolutely is!! I thought I recognized it!
yes it is definitely inspired by IXION XD
If only the game it came from was as exciting or interesting...
@@keztannis6848 maybe it's just not your type of game, I'd argue it's good and pretty enjoyable
@@kurofox1247 I'm sorry that I do not consider glorified visual novels as video games...
FYI, this ship still isn't anywhere near as large as the ship it's based on. That thing would still dwarf this model, as in the game (IXION) your ship, the Tiqqun, is described as being dwarfed by the Immensity, and in-game, when you encounter it it's in several chunks, each so large that they have a separate section on the *solar system* map
For anyone who wants to know, the in-game description states that the only intact portion of the structure, the central core, is itself "several thousand kilometres long". We don't even know how much of the structure got torn apart from gravitational forces.
This flies incredibly well on my system. (12900K and a 3090) Although I don't know how well it does on a multiplayer server yet.
it crashes the servers instantly lol XD i tested it on a high end server and boom instant crash lol
@@GayForLife1 The weapon of ultimate power...it will kill you before you even see it!

this reminds me of the station in the asteroid field from IXION
The ship looks like a restored version of a wreck in the videogame IXION if anyone understands
YEAHHHHH LASTSTANDGAMERS!!!
I've seen literally every SE related channel doing a review on this during the past three days.
It certainly looks nice but is super impractical.
I mean, could it be used as just a station for a setting?
@@banzeyegaming2234yeah. but as a actual combat ship its horrible. very little armor, very slow, very little guns,
Its meant to be a carrier after all, not a destroyer, I can imagine it having several escort ships, not to mention the fighters deployed from its hangars
Magnífico, dear. Que bela espaçonave, me dá vontade de jogar
plasma windows are an irl thing and though they probably wouldnt be possible at such scale that could be what they meant those glowing bits to be. plasma windows can hold a surprising amount of pressure against a vacuum so if you could get the scifi tech to make em that big you could have breathable atmosphere in the hanger with vacuum a few feet away a fighter could just drift out into.
Yup, it's definitely inspired by the destroyed UN warship in IXION. I could see the potential of this design as a destroyer tender given its colossal size.
The ship _looks_ great. It's really well made, both the exterior and the interior.
I would like to see a version of it built without all the subgrids. I know it wouldn't look quite the same, but I would really like to see how close to this you could get with a ship that could work outside of Creative mode.
problem is, then it just kinda looks like a trashy flying double-ended spearhead
that you dont get a headache with that amount of zoom
also we cant see the acceleration with the zoom
This is one of the most amazing creations I’ve ever seen… it looks like something straight out of Fractured Space
Please take the time to set up the AI fighters! That would be so glorious to see!
i dont think it can because it probably took up all of the blocks they can use
@@DuckyDaKingits possible to have infinite PCU on PC version of the game. Its in the world settings. (If you meant that lol)
Trying to make one with less sub-grids would be an intresting chalange.
Loved the video @LastStandGamers! Can't wait for the next video man! I wonder if Captain Jack and his Fleet from RWI would be able to take on the Immensity and Any Fighters or Fleets nearby LMAO!
Haven't touched this game in a hot minute but I am convinced to jump back in after this. Wow, wow, wow.
This ship looks like the shipyard I once created together with a few others in a game called StarMade.
In that game, we could fit this ship inside the shipyard, as it was 2km long.
Nice to see, makes me wanna jump back into Space Engineers
I miss playing starmade was a true "Minecraft in space" title.
What a marvel.. keep on sharing!
That's obviously the un flagship from the Ixion game.
I think my man had a full blown stroke over the "Navies" bit
It's definitely a visually pleasing station to look at, though in all practicality it seems to lack enough functionality to be an actual station at the same time, as it seems to be missing connectors and/or docking ports on the outside. None the less it shows potential, it just needs tweaking. Oh and welcome back Arron, it's good to see your content again, it was sorely missed.
Its a carrier. Not a station.
late but he literally shows the docking ports on the outside.
Anything with subgrids is basically completely impractical, so why even bother talking stuff like docking ports.
I recognized the ship design from IXION. It looks very nice here too. I wonder if they also made some of the other wrecks. The Piranesi looks pretty cool.
so far one of best ship i've seen
Lovely artbuild.
just glorious
The ship looks awesome
I would love to see you and your friends do a series using this guys ship collection versus say another collection of similar or equal design skill. Kind of like colony wars.
What a beauty
That thing is surprisingly beautiful😂❤
That's really well greebled for its size
Very, very pretty. A mamoth project!
Navies as in a group of ships
wow thats cool.
I was hoping to see it in action :(
whoever made this, made it look easy.
klang would love messing with all those hinges
It's too bad that Space Engineers start to break down like crazy when you start to get to high block count ships like this. I attempted to build a 1:1 scale Harrower Dreadnought from SWTOR, got to about 55K blocks and once I hit that point the game started freaking out and was deleting blocks when I tried to place new ones, and nothing I could do fixed it.
i seen this thumbnail and didnt even think it was a space engineers ship
This looks like a ship that came out of the Homeworld 3 scrapped concepts box.
Imagine being on planet just minding your business, then suddenly this pops up in low orbit.. followed by a swarm of fighter drones. 😅
Actually aircraft carriers turn and accelerate like a boss ;-)
Finaly Ixion is comming to SE. Respect to the creator of this Station.
Sorry if it’s been confirmed elsewhere, the white Arrows are the merging of an A and an I for a stylised company logo of armadillo industries.
"Miles maybe even kilometers"
This design defiantly took its inspiration from homeworld 2 which is so cool
It’s a United nations ship from the game IXION
Naivete
I need to see how it looks when all the fighters started
2:11 Navies is the plural of navy.
Final Fantasy theme with music.
This may be too much to ask, but in the will you consider doing a series?
That shit is so large My 60k PCU Carrier is only half in its length.
This is more of jump ship station with the fact that it is so open in middle
Охренеть, классный корабль 👏👏👏😎
If i ever got this in a server there is no way in hell i would move it without porpoise bc yk that thing will crash a server itll be a transport so 2 people could transfer more than two vehicles
Has anyone benchmarked the 7800X3D for SE?
So what is the weight on that thing?
And i thought UN stands for United Nations
It's not a ship, though? Even though you say it "looks like a station but I've confirmed it's really a ship" even the author's page and your own video description says it's set up as a station because of performance issues and *still* takes a couple of minutes to load in. With the number of sub grids, it wouldn't work at all as a ship without tearing itself apart.
wait....hm i got some videos to catch up on....
Cool ship. SE and Empyrion make me sad though. SE has the amazing building and crazy things you make and the realism. Empyrion has the galaxy and Points of interest stuff. Neither does both :/
And then there's starmade, where the biggest ship could fit 50 of these ships. The omega ragnarov with its park and city center, The tiger lily with it's petals that unfurled. I'll always remember starmade and always be sad that it'll never be finished.
Does Klang take effect even with roter lock on? (Or hinge lock, what have you)
Lad das Schiff in eine leere Welt und teste es 😊
Ich vermute, dass Clang es gut mit diesem Schiff meint.
Sonst würde es keinen Sinn machen das Schiff in den Workshop zu laden.
(Nae-vees - plural of Navy)
Where are the side ways thrusters?
this man has never seen the word navy plural
He's definitely not beating the mental disability allegations
I'm not sure if you're dyslexic but there was no "T" in Navies.
would thruster steering not be a great addition to the game, the amount of gyros needed to get that to turn a little better is just akward.
Can build a ship from infinite warfare call of duty the retribution??
2:15 My dude the word is navies- it is plural of navy
I really wish someone would get rid of all the unnecessarily complex details and just make it function over form so I might have a chance at putting on an xbox world
Where the heck did the T come from
meanwhile, i can barely make a car
why are space engineers ships so small?
are these guys passing off this creation as their own? because this is the derelict un space station from the game IXION.
For me its the Big question is it Survival rdy?
More like a qusteion: "Will my PC explode or not?".
of course not, its made of many different subgrids and klang would probably tear it apart as soon as you convert it to a ship.
Plaease male se2 so we can actually play with ships like this ;D
An Englishman that cannot spell Navies! Now I've seen everything 😵
Bottom left?
makes me sad knowing this has no chance of exisitng on a server
I don't understand how people can play with such low FOV
Navy / navies 😭
All those comm structures yet only a few comm hubs. Looks absurdly pointless, really hurts the look of the ship.
2:05 Do u have… dyslexia maybe?
I do :]
@@LastStandGamers oh ok just checking 😂👍
the stupid yellow boxex that no real ship would ewer have, are putting me off. Looks like a unfinished construktion site
The zoomed in thing was making me dizzy. Had to stop watching.
You know what bugs me about Space Engineers? Some of the designs are just so pointless. Like, why do they have all these extra bits and pieces that don't do anything? It's like they're just there to look cool or something. But they don't. They just make the game laggy and annoying. I wish they would focus on making the designs more functional and realistic, not just flashy and fancy.
10:16 USA carriers are one of fastest ships on open watters and thay are quite manuverable.
I mean. Making a flying brick with hundreds of guns is basically as practical as it get, But thats pretty boring dont you think?
DLC bad
did you ever figure out how to read that?
