Some people get confused between what hard drive space is and what RAM is. hopefully, this video will give you an idea if you want to know more, let me know.
This was incredible helpful. The graphic was a perfect comparison. Every time I have to buy a new computer, I have to remind myself what all of these functions are. This will help me remember so thanks!
brilliant! i have a question.... i play online poker (uses very little ram+hdd), while i play i use a tool called holdem manager, witch uses alot of ram + hdd, recently its been lagging and auto switching off (the hem2).. so im getting a new laptop and need to know what i should d be looking for,will 4gb ram 360hdd be enoghh? should i be considering hrd driver speed, cpu and what processor itis? all of which im clueless about too.... im technology noob, when somebody says ram i think farm animal! :)
+NoobaGutt 8 gigs of ram should be enough for gaming unless your're like me and you want to get 16 just to be different and not have 8 like everyone :D
hope someone can help me here. I have a macbook that has been shut off completely for the past three years. Now, I'm thinking about recycling it, since I obviously do not need it. If I remove the Hard drive from the mac and leave that space empty (not replace the hard drive with a new one since I AM discarding the computer), will my laptop lose all its data and be completely empty?

more ram if you want speed :-)
More Hard drive if you need more space for files :-)
+SuperPertinax You mad bruv?
more ram ONLY if you need it. otherwise it will not be much more than a waste of money.
1TB=1024GB

same question comes to my mind, in another, do i have to back up all my pc data before installing new hard drive?
The side of my computer: 1TB Hard Drive
My hard drive: 300GB
More ram is better or more hdd?
only if you need really need that much.
