This must be one of the most comprehensive videos I've ever seen, excellent straight to the point explanation. 10 points.
Watching this from 2022 to prepare for an exam. It's one thing to know what SSDs and HDDs are and a whole other thing to really see from the inside. Thanks a lot for opening up those drives and giving me a more tangible understanding especially why SSD is an SSD. As you showed, it is simply because it's 'solid' :)) Cheers!

Some people are saying that this video is outdated, but for some of us old-timers, using the older technology, the SSD drive and its benefits, is now quite obvious to us. So, the next PC we get or update will have one in it (at least for the boot drive).
Same here John! :O) I'm 46 and have been using and building PC's since my early 20's. My next system build will have an SSD as a boot drive for the very first time!!! :O)

It's nice to see your video's also as an "old one" in the pc-world and my first pc I build was about I guess for about 30 years ago. All the years after my first build I build lot's of other pc's but only for hobby, so not as an professional like you.
But even with my experience it is always good to see other people building pc's and see how other people do things. Sometime I think maybe you better do it this way but also many time I think that his way is better en never thought about.
The way you explain is very good and especially for the new ones, learning them how you do it the right way. They can better learn from someone like you than from a young one who thinks he al knows how it works.
Anyway, thanx for the video's and I'm looking forward to new ones.

Very good explanation. I have already changed all my HDD SATA drives to SSD drives. But the prices are dropping soooo fast, I paid $29 for a Kingston 240GB drive on Amazon. I believe I am getting MUCH MUCH more than a 3:1 increase improvement in performance.
