Yes Dr...This labial Bow in Pedodontics in few cases for eg...in case of traumatic injuries for the attachment of auxiliary springs,,for retention etc etc

@@AtoZKidsdental my dentist has given me hawley retainer instead of braces for my over jet on my upper teeth, can a retainer fix an over jet? I go to him every 2 weeks to get my retainer tightened, he uses 3 prong pliers and i am not sure if that will work or not. Any tips you have? thanks

Retainers can bring about mild movements of around 0.5 to 1mm max...not greater than this...so it cannot correct overjet

You should have asked everything before treatment or ask for orthodontist referal for consultation
