  • 👉 This is how to replace the rear hub bushing on a Land Rover Range Rover L322 full size. This is a common wear and tear part that will deteriorate with age and mileage. Worn bushings can cause many drivability issues including uneven or excessive tire wear.

I'm going to tackle this job soon. Great video. Right now I am getting my butt kicked by the parking brakes!!!

Hi, glad it was helpful , thank you for watching/subscribing.
It's not that bad if you plan ahead, order the parts (bolts) before you start. A good ball joint press or bushing tool is a must. I did leave links to all the parts in the description.
As far as the parking brake goes, just remove the shoes and leave them out. They always rust up and cause issues. Unless you do use the parking brake often. Most of the time, not using them is what causes the problem.
      thanks

Great video. Nice clear presentation. I’ve done mine and I’d definitely recommend anyone has a grinder to hand as those bolts can be impossible to knock out of the old bush. And obv have the new bolts to replace the cut one lol.

Hi, thank you very much for watching/subscribing. Yes a grinder to cut and new bolts are must to complete this job. It's very common for the bolts to seize inside the bushings on any vehicle.

Isn’t easier to just replace the arms if the parts too old or rusty 😅

Hub bushings are pressed in to the knuckle. Replacing the control arms if rusted, you will still have to go through this same procedure to replace the bushings. However you can replace the knuckle/Hub, which may come with preinstalled(pressed in) bushings. But I don't think it's any easier. You may still have to cut the bolts out if rusted or seized & you will have too remove the axle from the hub, transfer all the brake system to the new knuckle/hub, including the parking brake.
      Thanks for watching/subscribing.
