  • Fished the Flats Class Tournament hosted by ‪@flatsclassyoutube5502‬ . My partner for this tournament was ‪@AndreasChristouSaltwater‬. We had a great day of fishing for the tournament. Ended up with a perfect tournament red and a solid second red with a total weight of about 10.60 lbs. Once we got to the boat ramp the bigger red started to die on us. Put an aerator and G Juice in the livewell to try and keep the fish alive, but unfortunately he did not make it when we got to the weigh in. That would have been the first or second place bag because 1st place was around 10.30 lbs. I caught all my fish on the Zman Diesel Minnow Redbone color on a 1/4 oz Texas eye jighead. I had to work that lure very close to the bottom to get the redfish to bite. And slow bounce and swim method worked very well today. Please like, subscribe and comment down below. Thanks for watching!

Enjoy your videos. It is illegal to cull redfish in Florida. In other words if you put a fish in the box, that is it. You cannot swap it out for a bigger one. Sometimes tournaments get a waver, which is usually only big tournaments. I would take you video down, since someone could report you to FWC. I don’t care, just don’t want to see you get into trouble.

Yes it is, but we did have a culling permit for this tournament. They made sure we all had it printed out or downloaded to our phone for the tournament so we were good to go. Thanks for watching the video!
