- In today’s Disney dining review, we finally had the opportunity to have brunch at California Grill in Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This is something we have wanted to do for a longtime and I can tell you it did not disappoint. We started with the fresh buffet selections of sushi, smoked fish dip, charcuterie, salads and much more. Then we started ordering the entrees, everything from stuffed French toast to Shrimp & Grits. In total we ordered 8 entrees over the course of 3 hours! This might just be the best dining experience I’ve had on Walt Disney World property. Everything looked amazing! As a Maine girl, I’m always skeptical of the lobster. It’s usually Florida lobster and I just can’t stomach it. But that actually looked like real Maine lobster 🦞 Yum!

We are doing brunch on our trip this March. We’ve had dinner before and watched the MNSSHP fireworks from our table. It looks so yummy! And the mimosas! That’s gonna be my favorite part. (Just a note this will be day 6 of an 8 day trip with a 2 1/2 year old and 7 month old.) 😄 I love that you guys tried practically everything. My husband is already saying he isn’t going to eat a lot because he doesn’t want to be tired. 🤦🏼♀️

I know the focus should be on the food and your review but you had a great table. As attractive as you guys are to look at, I couldn't stop glancing out the windows and admiring the view. I guess I'll have to watch this again. 😋 Thank you for taking us with you.

Can anyone confirm if you can walk up to ask for bar seating for brunch like you can for dinner? Asking for a "friend"... thanks
We are heading here at the end of April and I cannot wait! Thanks for the great review. There will be two of us when we go and we also want to try nearly every entree on the menu. Do they encourage you to try different things? I don't want to feel awkward/greedy ordering lots of dishes!
Our waitress encouraged us to try multiple things. With the price you're paying, you shouldn't feel bad at all. I think they fully expect that people are gonna make it a multi hour experience. I hope you have a great time!

Thanks for the review it was great! But do you think it would truly take 3 hours? I have this booked in a couple weeks but will have 2 six year olds and a 4 year old with me. They would do fine for 1.5-2 hours, but definitely not 3 😩
You could absolutely have a quicker dining experience. We ate slowly to pace ourselves since we were sampling so many items. :)
I tried that coconut stuffed french toast, it was sooo dry i couldnt enjoy it!! Wonder if it was an off day:)

I honestly don't remember being asked. We would not have been able to because of not going directly back home after.
The pineapple/coconut french toast looks amazing! Love California Grill but have never done the brunch. How can you eat all that fantastic food? Do they serve the brunch at the bar? I'm going to have to try it.
I don't think there is bar seating because they use it all for the buffet.

Hey Cory, Hi Stephanie! Just a QUESTION? Did 95$ in the already factored in gratuity or is it 95$ and your tipping per person on top of that? My husband is picky & I am weighing out if that would be worth it for us. Thanks. Great video!
We tipped on top of the $95. But with the 20% Tables in Wonderland discount it was covered by that. They also offer 10% to passholders and DVC.
