@@carver9312 🤣🤣🤣🤣, I am #teampixel! My primary phone will always be a Pixel and currently rock the 5 as my primary, while the 4a and 3a XL serve as backups to my primary. With that said, it doesn't mean that I don't enjoy the hell out of my Mi 11 as my secondary. Let's remember the Pixel has been a beast when it comes to stills since the 2 and has greatly improved the video with the 4a, 4a 5g and the 5.

Thanks for your comparison. You are living in a beautiful place. Using my Pixel 4a 5g for a while, cameras is truly amazing on this little guy, but video 4k on mi 11 on low light is better. In everything else Pixel wins.

Other than maybe 4k rear video, which looked pretty even, I thought the Pixel was noticeably better pretty much in every shot. Even front camera video, which I wasn't expecting. Newer tech, which should be better on paper, still can't really compete with the Pixel's superior and older camera software. Maybe the MI 11 Pro will put up a better fight if or when it gets released.

I don't like to look like fanatic but honestly Pixel camera is soooo good. I believe Pixel 7 photo capabilities will be exceptional with new sensors, optimized CPU and improved algos. Gonna stay on 4A 5G until 7th come out. I see only three options in the next year: Pixel Pro, Galaxy Ultra/Note, iPhone Pro. This year upcoming models are interesting but not too fresh and impressive imo
The Mi 11 is good and that sensor is great, but I I am definitely liking those pixel shots a lot more way more details and that color and contras. Pixel for the win!

Maybe for point and shoot as of use, but personally I feel they take different approaches to the actual image processing.
Pixel phone portrait shots and nightmode are far better than iphone
Dude ,I own the mi 11.and my wife has the pixel 5 ,to close to call for us ...Your out of focus on much of the shots with MI 11... Comparison is void unless you tap screen of MI 11...needs update to improve firmware for just point and shoot....

Pixel looks best in 90% of pics. In some selfies pixel has more reddish skin tones. I also prefer the rear camera portraits from mi 11 as pixel has more contrast.
Thanks, I've noticed the red skin tone on the Pixel lately as well. That hasn't historically been an issue, so hopefully that doesn't continue.

The colors of the tiles on the chameleon looks so much better and also sharper with the 4a 5g. The gaps between the tiles are also much more prominent. Even the water trail looks so much more better with the 4a 5g. As usual, Xiaomi always over promised with their cameras.

Mi 11 has great hardware and alright software. Stand out for me was the night mode! Made a huge difference to overall quality of the image.
But ... The pixel is the most dependable camera in the game.
Honestly the Mi 11 holds up kinda nice against the pixel but at it's still moderate higher price point pixel maybe better option still . But honestly the Mi 11 camera very good

Pixel rear edges out, the mi 11 has better stabilization on the front camera along with better audio quality.

Pretty impressive what they can do with those 12MP sensors.
I was choosing between the Mi 11 and the Pixel 4a 5G (which has the exact same camera system as Pixel 5), when I watched this video and decided that I’ll get the Pixel. The front camera video, great details, and night performance (apart from the fastest updates) ultimately made me choose the latter. My device has yet to arrive but I’m really excited for it. I got to save around $150. I sure do hope my decision is right.

Yea it's the Pixel and it's not even close. Though I assume if you sideload GCam on the Mi 11 it'll be a different story.
Maybe, but Gcam isn't always stable, doesn't support portrait mode on objects and 4k video recording doesn't always work. I guess it can serve as a band aide to normal photos and portraits of people to a certain degree.
typical Xiaomi, beast on paper but mediocre in reality, what the point of such powerful SoC when Mi 11 can't even focus normally in 1080p30fps lmao. And look at video quality from front camera, only 1080p and it's looks like something from $150 smartphone.
Yet another easy victory for pixel. I am glad I spent my hard earned money on pixel 4a 5g.

I agree with you . I’m happy I held on to my 10 ultra . I never was tempted to go with the mi 11 since camera for me is an important area and in which the mi 11 feels like a downgrade.
