Seriously! I got a comparable version of this last night in Tampa and thought the exact same thing. I’ve been searching for a recordings of it all morning and this is the only one I’ve found that comes close to what we had last night. We all literally almost fell down after throwing down so hard to this song.
Just watched it again. Still can't believe I was there to see this live. I saw the Grateful Dead from 1981 until Jerry passed and this is the only thing that could be considered up there with the best of those shows. I have been saying for several years that Billy is as close to a reincarnation of Jerry as I have yet to see. I just can't believe that I got to live to see both of the masters at peak powers (I know Billy has time to rise, but where can you go from this!) Thank you Amy! Thank you Billy!! Thank you Alex, Billy, Jared and Royal!! Please keep doing what you're doing; you are making history with shows like Boston. I was there both nights and I would have been there a week straight if given the chance. Keep up the great work, Amy!!
