First time to Venice in 2022. So, overwhelmed by exploring and soaking in its beauty, my sketching on site was minimal. Spring 2024 for a couple of days, as part of a longer tour, hoping for the best! Nice vid! TY

I really liked this video. It brought back many memories of when I was there. I recognized several of the places you went to. You even did sketches of scenes I sketched. I love Venice and I love this video. I am a little shy to sketch alone in public, but this thought to fill the sketchbook surely helps to leave the procrastination and just draw.

I’ve never travelled beyond the Uk and Ireland but Venice is somewhere that I’d like to visit one day (especially Murano for the glass) so this video was really lovely to see. I know you said it was difficult to get the balance between sketching and sightseeing, but the video has a perfect balance, in my opinion!

Sehr interessantes Video, wie immer ^^. Der kleine Buchladen mit den Katzen ist soooo toll gewesen!
Venedig an sich ist o gar nicht meins...ich bin eher der Typ von viel Grün und Natur...Venedig ist mir zu voll, zu "grau"....
Aber Burano war schon schöner mit den bunten Häuschen ^^.
Hattet ihr allle das gleiche Skizzenbuch hernehmen...oder gings eher um die Din A 4 Größe? Frage nur, weil ich mich wundere, das du nicht deine guten, dickeren, aquarellgeeigneten hergenommen hast ^^! (Neugierig bin XD)
Danke 🥰 Ja das stimmt, Venedig hatte oft dieses bewölkte Wetter und es ist sehr wechselhaft 😌 Wir hatten alle das gleiche Skizzenbuch gestellt bekommen, was allerdings sehr dünnes Papier hatte, weshalb ich dort auf die Pastell Stifte umgestiegen bin.
