Wonderful vid! Followed the instructions. Checked all 3 fuses - all ok. Found spare relay in under hood fuse box, swapped it for the one in the in-cabin fuse box - and problem solved!! Thank you for the clear instructions.
Thank you SOOOO MUCH! passenger window regulator snapped! Replaced regulator now neither front window works! found that 15 amp fuse you pointed out was blown! God Bless you! I have spent Hours searching.
Check these fuses in the video First. But if your window rolls down and not up, check the rubber harnesses in the main door jams. The wires can become brittle, disconnected or broken. You can jiggle the harness to see if your lucky. It can come back alive for full functionality If not you will have to take the rubber harness apart and reconnect the wires that are damaged. 09-14 F150's.
The relay solved my problem I had checked all the fusses and breaker the ford book did not have that the relay #49 had anything to doo with the windows says delayed accessory nor did the other sites I went to THANK YOU.
Excellent help! None of my 2011 F150 windows worked. Swapped the relay with the #6 relay under the hood and they start working. #6 is the trailer tow lights? On way to get new relay - Thanks
Passenger window didn't function at random. Oddly when I parked the truck and shut off the engine all of a sudden it worked again. Very curious behavior. If it happens again I'll check that breaker! Great video
Yup, I'm having that issue right now. Only my two front windows are having it. Sometimes they don't work and you re cycle the truck and they work. Very odd but did you ever find out a fix? I have found forums about this issue but they are all from 2009 to 2013 so cant ask there.
I have a 2013 150 and I have an aftermarket Apple play radio installed for about a year now. I notice that the radio would say, “AMP Error” and after troubleshooting, the driver side window control switch when I unplug it, the radio works fine. When I plug it back up, the radio sound goes out, and eventually if I leave the window switch plugged for a couple minutes it’ll read Amp Error again. I changed out the switch itself and it didn’t work. In fact, it made one of the switch buttons non functional. It wouldn’t press down. I notice the wires were very warm.
All of my power windows work except the passenger side rear window on my 2013 Ford F150 Supercab. Are there individual fuses for each side's motor for the rear window? Could it be the relay or breaker since only one side doesn't work?
You need to swap fuses, or window motors as a last resort. The main check is the wires in your door jams. Inside the large rubber boot harness. Make sure nothing is brittle, broken or disconnected to the switch modules. This fixed my issue on my drivers door, everything is back to normal. Only for 2009- 2014 F150's
I have power windows everywhere except the driver found a broken wire in the door accordian fixed it all my windows role up and down except the driver window so I put a new master door switch still nothing ? Bad wiring harness? Fuse ?
Sadly you can't. These f150 have fuse boxes issues. They get too hot and melt/break certain fuses. Make sure your check the fuel relay switch in the main fuse box - (in the engine bay). That one tends melt the most. It's not fun when you're stranded😂
My 2011 f150 front passenger window has no function at all. Will not work from the drive side switches or the front passenger side switch. All other 3 windows work. Any ideas? I don't think there is individual fuses for each window. Could be the motor?
I have an issue with my driver side switches not working. I cannot roll down driver or passenger windows from the driver side. Passenger side switch works fine and I am able to roll down the window. 2014 f150 XL driver's door actuator no power going to it. Other 3 door locks work. Guy only had one key so could he have disable it so he can't lock his key in the truck using forscan software or something????? Any help would be great. Auto start working, oem! Broken wire???
@@timothyhudson5221 I'm sure my issue is the switch. If I quickly go up n down a bunch of times real quick with the switch on the door, it'll eventually catch and go down. Sometimes when I go to get it down, it'll do the opposite and go back up and vice versa. Gonna just order a whole new window switch panel.
Same here, the #1 30A fuse keeps popping on mine every time I replace it. Tried replacing the window regulator and the switch, still keeps blowing the fuse. Frustrating.
I had my regulator replaced and afterwards it threw my entertainment center, and driver's seat position, into a tizzy. Mechanic hunted the issue, looking for wire damage in the door threshold, to no avail. As a last ditch he pulled fuse #32 and reseated it because I found someone refer to that on a forum. Why that would work I couldn't say BUT IT DID! Unfortunately the new regulator failed, was replaced and again I'm having electrical issues. This time the backup camera keeps crashing and the windshield wipers just randomly come on and stay on. So very disappointing. Today I reseated fuse #32, again not that I can fathom any reason why that might work. We shall see what happens.
Check the wiring in your main door harness.( Large rubber boot) You might have some brittle wires or lose connections. If you live in a place with all 4 seasons.
I literally followed your video and replaced the relay, and I had power again. Thanks for posting this.
Very good video brother! This is more like it... Straight to the point, no extra garbage, and thorough af! Thank you!
Thanks dude I have plenty of videos in the 2013 F150 however I hope you won't have to watch any more of them 😂
