Under a new coach and system, playing five teams ranked higher, including the world's number 1, 2 and 7, Canada has kept the opponents scoreless for 8 of the 10 halves. And the defense was supposed to be the major problem. I'm not especially happy that we looked better offensively versus the two most difficult teams but they'll get the scoring touch back sooner or later, we are definitely due and are usually a scoring team.
Alphonso Boyle Davies (born November 2, 2000) is a professional soccer player who plays as a left-back or winger for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and captains the Canada national team. He is widely regarded as one of the best full-backs in the world, and one of the best North American players of all time. Let's just say he's saving himself and the US men's team can watch a country of 39 million show you how it's done, like we have in hockey for generations. 😅
So he was hoping for a bit of corruption where Argentina throws a match to let Peru go through and screw Canada and he smiles through the characterless comment. ¡Vamos Canadá!
This dreamland time for long time sufferers who have supported canmnt. Sure it wasnt pretty (we don't care) but they fought tooth and nail and survived to play agian and ruffled some feathers doing so. Love it! 🎉
one could say there is a lack of stellar play from the offensive side, but when looking at the defensive side... Canada has been top notch, including a 1-1 draw vs France in a friendly in a tourney warmup and then only conceding 2 goals all group stage. Meh offense, stellar defence and world class goaltending.

With Canada they have not had much time under Marsch. Is that a factor in their less than stellar play?
Yes, but really only in putting the ball in the net. Everything else, has been above expectations: defending, discipline etc.

Usmnt only have themselves to blame. They were not and are not professionals because they do not have professional coach.
And.... Canada DID draw Venezuela. I'll be hopeful but reservedly so.
According to USOCFED leaders and Gregg Berhalter the USMNT players are still learning to play soccer. LoL
It’s extremely notorious that you two don’t knos a single thing about football.
