Gasly's spine is made of titanium for carrying AlphaTauri that far. The car may be better than what Tsunoda makes it look, but it's definitely not ahead of Ferrari or McLaren.
The AT has always been able to put heat in the tyres better than most and that is the edge it has allowing Pierre to feel confident and go fast. He's doing a great job, in the races you see he rarely can go as long and fast as Ferrari and Mclaren, the temperature effects the AT tyres more as does the set up.
@@lekudos They're not enemies hopefully, but I wish Max's team was nicer to Lewis. The accusations they sent this year completely killed the friendly atmosphere among the fans. That's what made it creepy. Max is a pushy driver that puts a lot of pschological pressure on Lewis... It would be nice if they stuck to racing, not vilifying other racing drivers.
Although max and lewis are fighting for the championship and norris had a nice few races , gasly would be my driver of the year as not only he's outperformed his teammate(no surprise there),he's also extremely consistent (when hes not being taken out) and producing results higher than you would expect from the car
I think the alpha tauri's pace is there to be ahead of ferrari and mclaren, the thing is that pierre is one with the car hes getting the maximun of it, but we have seen that when yuki tsunoda nails the pace or lap he is mostly faster than mclaren and ferrari in a lot of tracks, I think the alpha is quite strong
He isn't anymore, really. Took a while for him to get to that level on a consistent basis after switching teams. But at this point I'm somewhat tired of people saying that Sainz is underrated. Is he? Is think everyone now expects him to be on a very similar level to Leclerc. Because we'Ve seen him do it repeatedly.

@@hamzterix the stewards have discovered that he has a DRS infringement, where the minimum opening distance of the rear wing flap was fulfilled, but not the maximum distance required which is 85mm. Now his car is under investigation and the team is being questioned. Not sure what kind of penalty(if any) will be applied and the severity of it

The Iterlagos track has an incredible atmosphere... Sunday's race will be fantastic. This rivalry between Hamilton and Verstappen is always something to talk about, whatever the track. This rivalry will forever mark this season, in my opinion the best F1 season in years.

Because it hurts when you're a Lewis fanboy and you just commented how he's the best driver, because he outqualified Max, but now you find out the only reason is through cheating. I mean, it's not like he's 8.5km/h faster than Valterri at one of the points DRS is used. Theres reports of Lewis's car having a DRS rule broken where it was found that his rear wing did not comply with the rules regarding the maximum gap between two elements of the wing when the DRS overtaking aid was deployed. The gap was measured to be larger than the maximum permitted distance of 85mm. Stewards are investigating at the moment apparently. Lets see how this unfolds.

Maybe you should learn the meaning of being "underrated": he was tested half season on the Red Bull and he's melted under the pressure. He's a great driver, no doubt about it, but definely not underrated.
