I keep handy a couple of watering cans with rose applicator and all. When the time comes. Simply pee in there! Add the remain amount of water and water your plants...
No nasty smells, no "handling", no pee storage, etc. all pretty straight forward.
On rainy days, when you don't need to water the plants. Just keep the watering cans outside (where they always are). When the time comes to water the plants. Same thing, fill up the remain with water and water the plants!
When "off season" pee on the compost pile... Done! ;-)

If you're using lots of compost though, in particular composted wood like old rotten logs, then potassium shouldn't be much of an issue. Conditioning is so thick within society, this really is the tip of the iceberg in my opinion. Unfortunately humans have an addiction to chemicals, and that's no accident. One thing to note is that if you sprinkle pee tea on the leaves of your plants, you need that 8-10 parts water to 1 part pee ratio to prevents burning the plant. But if you pour directly on the soil or mulch around a plant, you can safely go with 3:1 ratio or maybe less.

I mean if it’s just you eating it then who cares I guess but if it’s others eating your home grown veg etc then gross if ya not doing some kind of sterilization method before applying you can spread pathogens on to the veg etc. That’s why ya don’t pour it directly onto the plant. Putting on the soil if sufficient. Or even better put it on a compost pile and then let it sit for a while until the compost is ready and you have a very nutritious compost for the plants and the pathogens usually die in the process of composting.

To those who have property with forest coverage. This is what you do! The Forrest floor is basically compost that has collected in the Forrest floor over millions or the last time it was logged. Get a shovel & scoop up everything on the forest floor. Dead leafs , grass , twigs etc & use the shovel to get the top layer of soil. That soil is not soil It’s compost basically however it needs some nitrogen. So once you have gathered barrels of Forrest floor, take your green grass cuttings and add to it. Also put 3-4 news papers in each barrel & a few cut up card board boxes. (NO COLORED OR GLOSSY PAPERS) if it has a finish on it do not use it. Now all you do is start throwing you veggie & fruit waste that you don’t eat in the barrels. Once you have this combo of stuff in your barrel you then need to dump a 5 gallon bucket of pee in it. Get a metal Rod or something to stir it. This will start a chemical reaction and it will break down in a few months. You don’t have to use a barrel , you can do it right on the ground in a pile. I recommend both. Use the barrels for pee , but also pour several gallons on the pile on the ground. The pile on the ground will break down faster because you will use a pitch fork and stir it and flip it every couple days. You will notice its really hot. When it starts breaking down it’s BECAUSE It’s alive! It will get 140-160 degrees sometimes if you have big piles. But the barrels that you filled with Forrest floor , newspapers and cardboard boxes + green grass cutting you will see go from 100% full to 30% full in a couple months. It breaks down that much. Once it’s done that it’s done. However I would then mix it with your compost pile on the ground as the barrel that was full of pee is full of potassium Nitrate. There is no urine left! It is perfectly safe. The urine is gone when this chemical reaction takes place. If you deer Hunt, trap etc throw you caucuses In your pile and burry them. If you do this you will want to build a small fence around your pile or the animals will dig it out & steal all that nutrients. We set a trap beside our compost pile & the Varmint that tried to steal our Carcasses becomes a carcass lol. The dead animals , fish etc will just make your compost on steroids x10. What I recommend with those who fish, when you clean your fish you want to put all the remains , guts, bones, scales it’s in mason jars or sealed buckets & leave it out in the sun. These you will want sealed with no holes. What your wanting here is it to turn into a black nasty sludge & it will after a few months of being in these containers. Use it as a weekly dose of HOLY COW look at it grow sauce. You get one of those attachments that go on a water hose that allow you to mix things with the water as it comes out. You fill it with this fish sludge & my god it’s the garden of eden.
the biggest tomatoes I ever grew was when we caught Sting rays & use the remains that you don’t eat & put them in a jar to rot. We then pours the sting Ray sludge into our top layer of compost and mixed it up. After planting our garden we then take their top layer and put it around the plants when they are a month or so into the veg process before they start to flower/fruit & you will see your garden explode. I wish I could
Upload photos to the comments, it grew squash & zucchini that were nearly two feet long and over 12 Inches around. Honestly they were too big. Had we known they would be so big we would of planted far less of them.
Also, your veggies that rot from falling on the ground, put them in your next years compost pile. It’s a never ending process of awesomeness. There is no reason to buy expensive miracle grow & compost is way better than MG. And it’s really cheap. In southern Missouri compost is so easy to make you can but an entire pickup truck load worth for $75. An entire truck bed for 75, and delivered for another $50. It would take hundreds of miracle grow bags to equal that and would cost you thousands. Happy gardening , don’t be scared of the pee

The salt in urine makes it dangerous to drink in anything but small quantities. I could understand someone who is dehydrated using it to wet their lips to reduce the discomfort, but trying to depend on it for even a day is just going to make the situation worse. There's a reason your body is expelling this as waste in the first place. The best you can do in a survival situation is set up a solar still to separate the water content from the salts and to drink the distilled water.

"urine is even more effective on human beings as a food, cure-all medicine, and soap"
It is none of these things. The first two are outright lies and downright dangerous. The third might be confusion arising from when laundries used urine as a bleaching agent, often before soap was available (this is how the Romans kept their linen togas white, for example, with laundries usually having buckets outside their doors for passers-by to contribute to).
Just because you read something in multiple books doesn't make it true. There's an entire market of gullible people out there, people who aren't necessarily stupid but have just forgotten much of what they learned at school, ripe for exploitation by cynical authors and publishers willing to churn out anything which will sell. Please don't fall for it. Please don't kill yourself by drinking urine rather than seeing a doctor.

I got an incredible amount of nitrates - currently in some barrels turning to Tea - and over a To Be Potato Patch. I wanna mention Lasagna Gardening - by gathering Weeds or more easy - gathering large weeds of the same variety to make a layer - then dead leaves or a brown layer - dirt if need be - then green then brown - you can create a Mound - I like using Bricks so I can form down the mound the loose pine needles - it will shrink over time and the potato sprout you put in will turn to a mound of potato - great for small space. A lot of people are grossed out at the thought that a person is collecting their urine, but...a whole days pee is enough to feed plants for a month.. even when it ferments, it just stinks, as long as the nitrogen doesn't off gas and the pee is kept in an airtight bottle, it is still safe to use. It is very potent stuff. You can throw in dead leaves into a tumbler, and without pee it will take a year to break down. Throw on some undiluted pee one every other day for a couple of weeks and that pile of leaves will be ready to use as compost in as little as a month.

It depends how alkaline or acidic your soil is. Mine looks black on top but under the first inch it's clay - so it's alright for super acidic clay soil to have pee or poo directly put around - because people with hard clay rock stuff Build On Top of the stuff. Like I put pee around where I plan for a huge potato mound to be - at the bottom layer - in another lasagna garden patch I made for strawberries and potatoes I put pine needles with nitrate on it as the bottom layer. It's about building on Top of the Poo or Pee & if it's fresh don't touch the plant or near it . Fresh poo basically never - it's better to mix it with water and make a manure tea for the plants.
Like if my soil was super clay but also super DRY - and it was way more acidic - id use manure tea - but I don't need moisture or nitrogen - just minerals and bacteria
      It's about the soil -
Best thing possible for any soil
      Is compost tea
Throw layers in a barrel green brown filler with water cover it from mosqueters let it roast up shrink down get strong. Plants don't smell or taste their soil loves that stuff it's all the minerals and everything sucked up from around them turned to Vodka and they love it
Impossible to overfertilize with compost tea
Brewing my first barrels ! Here
but a lot of Rocks too - so I've sprinkled clay dust on the Over Fertilized top of my soil - drier the better -
